“Ordered a cake for my son’s birthday, he wanted a vanilla cake, but he doesn’t like overly sweet desserts. The cake and the frosting were perfect, light and not overly sweet. As far as decorating , we asked for under the sea theme and it was perfect!“
“Best Bakery ever. Their products are delicious and made with care and a lot of know-how. They use locally sourced wonderful flour (I use the same at home). Staff is wonderful as well. I visit them from out of state on a regular basis because they are better than anything I have found anywhere else.Even though fresh is the best, I can also freeze a loaf and it is still great after being defrosted.Their croissants are out of this world.“
“This is my second order from the website. Last year, for Easter, I brought a plate of cannoli and so did someone else. This year, I switched to a cannoli cake. Wow, what a reaction. Gotta bring it again next year. By demand. It also started an argument over their mother's cheesecake. Go figure in a house with Italians. Everyone should be so lucky to have a Tony Cannoli in their town. Love the cannoli, the shakes, and now the cake. Service is great. Cake was ready for pick-up when I arrived. Had a small container of cannoli topping. Looked really busy in back getting orders ready for Easter.“
“Being gluten free and dairy free has made life challenging, but not since finding Holcomb Hollow! I've been a loyal customer since finding them at Green Joe's in Schaumburg. I'v also bought them at Pure Juice Cafe in Arlington Heights. With my wacky commute, I've also been able to find them at Brewpoint Coffee in Elmhurst as well as Conscious Cup in Palatine. We love their muffins, cookies, and donuts so so much. They are tasty and never give us a problem with our special dietary restrictions. They also are at the Mundelein Farmer's Market and offer seasonal special sales from their wholesale baking location in Mundelein. I follow them on Instagram where they advertise their latest products or new flavors. I also keep tabs on which businesses stock them on their IG page because it feels like the list keeps growing! IG is where they announce their random seasonal specials too. Devoted fan right here!“
“Super cute and cozy bakery in downtown Wauconda. The chai latte was perfect and the blueberry scone was fresh. I like the homey atmosphere and that you can see the bakery operations in back. Everything is clean and organized.Parking: Easy street parking (free) or park in the spaces across the street just off the alley.“
“We are so glad that we stopped by this hidden gem small family own business. Although the store display look kind of empty, what they have are very good. We had the BBQ pork bun (very good), 3 kind of Mille crepe cake (strawberry, rainbow and coffee, all are delicious), mini cookies (also delicious). We also had brown sugar bubble tea and taro sago coconut milk drink (soo good). If you order $30 or more, you get a free Mille crepe cake. Plus, the lady owner is very friendly. We are so happy to find this Asian bakery/dessert place in the Barrington area. We will come back for sure.“
“Had lunch in...chicken parmesan was dry, not enough sauce, chicken tasted old, didn't like. Would have liked ice water at table rather than having to purchase $2 bottles of water. Bread was excellent. Paid and tipped, but no table service, so not sure why.Cannolis that we took to-go for a birthday were fantastic. Rosemary focaccia to-go, also great.“
“I've visited this place a couple of times now, and it's become a favorite spot close to my house! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I particularly enjoyed the almond croissant--it was delicious! The beet revival was also refreshing and a unique twist. The staff provided excellent service, making the experience even more enjoyable.“
