A friend recommended Rosy’s for homemade tamales, and I was not disappointed. They were awesome. My only regret is not buying more to take home. Can’t wait to go back and try all three kinds. Rosy’s had lots of other baked goods, so I’ll have to try the rest of what they offer, too.
This place is an amazing little gem in Mundelein. Everything here is made fresh by the staff who are so sweet! The setup is just great, with old wood and glass cabinets filled with fresh pastry's. You get a tray and a set of tongs at the front and just walk through piling them on your plate. I can't say how much we loved finding this place, and how great everything we got was!
