“The bar area could really use more than 4 tables. There are a bunch of couches in the bar, and they have a wonderful happy hour, but who wants to eat an appetizer sitting on a couch?? The dining area is lovely as every table has a view of the lake. But the chairs are very uncomfortable for anyone with a rear end bigger than 12”. Wish the dining room lights were a little dimmer. Food and service and ambiance are top notch so we keep coming back!“
“First time getting this pizza on a recommendation from a coworker. Absolutely worth it especially if your trying to feed the house and just make a stop on the way home.Really cool to be able to place the order in advance and pull around to the back to grab and go. Great tavern style thin crust pizza. Sauced appropriately so it doesn't get soggy. Decent amount of toppings. Good crunch too the crust. Over all one of the better pizzas in Lake County.If you want some solid food for an honest price this is your place to stop in or order to go!“
“I stopped in for a quick bite to eat at lunch. It wasn’t too busy since it was pushing 2:30, I sat at the bar and had great service by the bartender. You can tell a lot of regulars come here, lots of very friendly people stopping in and it made me feel at home.Really pretty views out the bay windows of the lake. I bet warm summer afternoons here are amazing.Ordered an iced tea, burger and fries. The burger was a tad well done but the meat still had great flavor. The Thousand Island dressing I got on the side was definitely bottled so not my favorite, but the fries were seasoned well :)I’ll be back soon to try something different next time… and a cocktail.“
“Great food! Great prices too! This place has so many options on the menu. Had the Chicken Greek style. It was very good. $3 margaritas too. Jennifer was our waitress she was very friendly and very attentive. Our food was prepared fast and delicious! The weekend has live entertainment. We will be back!“
“Well, been passing by this place forever and this time we decided to stop in. Very sparse parking so we asked where to park and immediately the female bartender came outside and pointed to a few locations. She must have been an owner because it is rare and doubtful an employee would be so accommodating. Moving on..... We were seated, by the very nice and conscientious female bartender. She asked for our drink order and gave us menus........ So far so good......The food..... Corn Beef and Cabbage Dinner-Outstanding Monster Burger-Incredible Ruben-Great Patty Melt- Delicious Absolutely excellent all around. Not a single negative comment from anyone in our party. Oh, yeah! There was a gentleman talking to some people at the bar and was showing the coolest DUCK model to his friends. Said his buddy made them and was selling them for $5. My buddy immediately jumped up and bought it and asked for another one. Well the gentleman left the bar. Damn... no duck for me....... Hold on...... He returned with another duck in hand. I snapped it up and thanked him. That doesn't happen nowadays. How cool is that. The entire experience of that bar/grille was that of a typical Chicago old neighborhood tavern. Great people. Great food. special nod to the female bartender. Awesome lady who "gets it." We'll be back.....again and again.“
