“Scottys is a a dive hot dog stand. While it perpetually seems kind of dirty and run down. the dogs are ALWAYS good. They are one of the few places that actually put saurkraut on dogs anymore. and they have the florecent green relish (always awesome) I have been visiting since early 80s. You always get a LOT of fries and they wrap them with the dogs.. although now they ask if you want them seperate for some reason. They have a few dozen things on the menu but the dogs are always the same. they are the most consistant of dive places I visit.“
“Our server/ bartender was awesome! I didn’t catch his name but he’s the super cool bald guy with the best energy however, the food was awful. We ordered the bbq pick three plate and the ribs were dry the Nashville hot sauce wasn’t spicy at all it was the saltiest mess I’ve ever tasted, and the sausage was undercooked. With all that being said I’d like to circle back and mention that I will come back because the service from the cool bald guy was unmatched! You can’t pay enough for good genuine staff. I hope the food improves!“
“2020.New owners care very little about their customers. Burgers are pathetically small for the starting price. 2024- update. My wife and I decided to give another try and the burgers are back to a better size. We ordered the triple cheese with bacon and it was delicious. My only suggestion is to get rid of bag lettice( it tast like chemicals) and go with slicing fresh heads of lettuce. Service was on point too.“
“Very friendly people work here and make you welcome from the get-go.Had the chorizo casserole. It was delicious and filling. Had a $2 16oz Hamms as well. They had PBR and Stroh's as well.In addition, they have poker machines for entertainment.“
“The service here was excellent, and the food was beyond my expectations!! I got a Denver omelet and some raspberry cream cheese crepes. Wow, they were so good! It was a busy place on a Saturday morning, but we got seated after only a five minute wait. I would definitely go back again.“
“Quite a drive for me but worth the trip. Easy parking, the place was inviting even from the outside, and seating was comfortable. Our waitress was super nice and attentive throughout our meal. All three of us had the bottomless mimosa, which is only worth it if you drink three or more. I chose it because I wanted to try the different kinds of mimosas: oj, cranberry, and pineapple. Yum to them all. For my meal, I split the Veggie Fritatta and the Chiliquiles with my friend. I liked the chiliqiiles more (crunchy chips) than the fritatta (chunks of potato). The special: corn beef eggrolls were also really good. My other friend had the steak and cheese, which she loved. The amount given was just enough, and the prices were decent.“
“Can’t beat this place for ribs. Been going for decades. They still fall off the bone they are so tender. Service is great, lovely dining room across the street from Diamond Lake. Good wine list and extensive menu. We would go more often if it wasn’t so pricey but it’s our go-to spot for special occasions.“
“It's an area icon! If you like history. The foods always great there servers are mostly great. But it's sooooo loud u can't have a conversation. If your kiddos are sensitive to sound or anyone is hard of hearing use caution choosing times to go. Otherwise a great piece of history“
“No wake is great. The servers and bartenders are really friendly. The prices at this bar are always reasonable. I always enjoy the food when I visit. Atmosphere is fun too. This bar is popular but gets more crowded in the summer months. Located on the Fox River it's always fun to stop while boating. They also have gas for refueling boats. There are also a lot machines and there is outdoor seating in the summer months. I would highly recommend visiting no wake.“
“I’ve gone here at least once a year since like, forever, and it’s always great food, great service. Happy to support a good small business. Yes prices have increased, but so has gas, rent, your groceries, and more. It’s inflation people. Will always continue going here! The fries are my “
