The workers are always polite and kind. The service is fast and accurate, never had a problem with my orders. The food is DELICIOUS highly recommend the Italian beef egg rolls, so freaking good, another must try are gyros and Chicago style dogs. They also have whole pickles and they are one of the few places where you can buy a whole pickle. They are very generous with their fries.
I've been going here for over 30 years (fond memories of 'ditching' high school lunch with friends sitting on the wooden picnic tables out back) and the food is the same today as it was then...classic Chicago hot dog stand. Fresh cut homemade fries (never frozen or sitting under a heat lamp) rolled up in wax paper with a loaded up dog with a natural casing in a greasy paper bag, that is my childhood. Scottys is a a dive hot dog stand. While it perpetually seems kind of dirty and run down. the dogs are ALWAYS good. They are one of the few places that actually put saurkraut on dogs anymore. and they have the florecent green relish (always awesome) I have been visiting since early 80s.
