“Scottys is a a dive hot dog stand. While it perpetually seems kind of dirty and run down. the dogs are ALWAYS good. They are one of the few places that actually put saurkraut on dogs anymore. and they have the florecent green relish (always awesome) I have been visiting since early 80s. You always get a LOT of fries and they wrap them with the dogs.. although now they ask if you want them seperate for some reason. They have a few dozen things on the menu but the dogs are always the same. they are the most consistant of dive places I visit.“

“This is one of my favorite places to get a burger at local bar. I don't get there as often as I want to but whenever I do, it is great, food, great service, and friendly clientele! If you are rolling through Wilmot stop on by. They are also fantastic community partners.“

“Can’t beat this place for ribs. Been going for decades. They still fall off the bone they are so tender. Service is great, lovely dining room across the street from Diamond Lake. Good wine list and extensive menu. We would go more often if it wasn’t so pricey but it’s our go-to spot for special occasions.“

“This is an absolute hidden gem of Mundelein!!! Everything is seasoned so well, delicious food, priced fairly, great service. We have tried so many Mexican restaurants all over town and this is hands down the best. We’ve eaten here lots of times- the tacos are always amazing, tortas, burritos too. I’ve had a few of the Mexican classic dinners. Never any complaints. Check it out!!“

“Just a note for any Google personnel reading this. I did not stop at this bar, and have no clue where it even is located. Sono idea why Google wants me to rate an establishment I have never visited. Very strange. Your system needs work.I'd give the review one star over Google screwing up. But that's not fair to the bar. 5 stars simply because their rating shouldn't suffer over Google maps being stupid. If this is a Google AI test, it failed miserably.“

“I loved it here. Food is my heaven, and this place was out of this world! Their BBQ sauces to die for! Everything here was amazing. Staff was efficient and very pleasant. “Wow! I love what they've done to the place! In case you haven't heard, The Vine opened their newly constructed patio at the end of June, and it is a great addition to the local dining scene! It is an attractive space with lots of exposed wood beams, plenty of tv's, and an awesome looking bar top.My most recent visit to the patio was on a Tuesday, for lunch with a friend. We decided to sit outside; and even though it was a cool Autumn day, we were perfectly comfortable. We arrived shortly after they opened and there was plenty of seating; by the time we finished-up they had a very nice crowd.My buddy ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Salad, and I had the The Irishman, which is a Burger with Guinness Cheese Dip, an onion ring, and homemade pickles. We both agreed the food was delicious. Service was excellent (as always).I love the new space, and can't wait for my next visit. If you haven't been to The Vine recently, you need to go see for yourself!“

“I've been here once prior to this visit for breakfast with a friend and the food was great then so decided to try it for breakfast with my husband. There was one server and one cook (I think he may be the owner because he cooked my food when I came for breakfast). Service was a little slow, but it didn't really matter all that much to us. A couple things to note: they do not have a drink machine, everything soda related was in cans and while we were here, the only selection was sprite, Diet Coke or Pepsi(can't recall which), and Mtn Dew. They are warm and are served with a glass of ice. I ordered the breaded pork tenderloin and it does not indicate on the menu, but it comes with a heavy brown sauce, carrots (or a vegetable) and mashed potatoes. When it was set in front of me, I did not have high hopes but whooooooa was it good. Like every part of the dish was fantastic. My husband had the burger and he said it was great, too. I tried his "fries" and they were crispy on the outside and like mini mashed potatoes on the inside. Soooo good. The interior is very much mid century modern and I loved it. It's quirky. Overall very pleased with my second experience and will be back again!“

“Been coming here for 20+ years. Never disappoints! I had a cheeseburger w/the 2yr aged cheddar and applewood smoked bacon. My companion had the salmon sandwich. We both tried new beverages as they have such an amazing selection of different and more obscure selections! Belllchhhhhh!!!“

“They have a great outdoor patio that often has live music. They have a menu you can order from and also grilled corn and burgers that they make outside. The owner comes by to say hello and you really feel welcome. Off to the slide they have playground equipment, basketball, and volleyball.“

“We celebrated a birthday here recently. The steak was excellent! I eat primarily carnivore and the kitchen prepared a skirt steak atop a bed of bacon. Not just a couple slices of average bacon. This was 6 slices of crispy bacon topped with a perfect medium rare steak! A great meal overall with one caveat when they gave our table to another party when we were 5 minutes late and told us they did that. We waited about 20 minutes for our table. Not the end of the world but a bit frustrating.“

“Sideouts is an awesome place to eat, drink, bowl or watch live music! Huge outdoor patio with tvs, music, baggo, violleyball and so much more. The food is excellent, the pizza is some of the best around! Summertime they have car shows, bands in the sand concerts, and many other events. You gotta check this place out!“

“This is a place we have come for many years now. Almost every time the service is very good and attentive and enjoy the food and the variety offered. Our most recent visit did not disappoint. We were seated immediately on a very busy Saturday. Drinks, food and service was very good. My only caution is for those wanting to hold conversation with others. It is typically loud and not conducive for conversation. That said, it is a fun vibe and highly recommended!“

“We had a family brunch here a couple of times, and we LOVE it! They have high chairs for the minis (even though our toddler would much rather stretch those little leggies). The staff is so friendly and welcoming and very patient with our indecisive family members (It's totally me, I'm indecisive)! The restaurant is always clean and has a nice familiar feeling to it.
