Taco's El Norte is a gem of a family-run place with friendly service. The steak burrito and steak tacos are mouth-watering and to die for, reminiscent of the El Ferro style burrito. The hot sauce is flavorful without being too spicy. The restaurant feels local, and the staff is always friendly. No complaints here - the guacamole tastes fresh, and the food always exceeds expectations. It's a small space, but the delicious food and quick service make it worth the visit. Five stars are not enough for this Mexican restaurant in Mundelein.
