We found Blue House Korean BBQ while searching for a different k-bbq place to try in the burbs. Our first impression when we entered was a somewhat typical k bbq restaurant, a bit on the smaller side. The restaurant was somewhat busy on the Thursday night. Having been here many years ago, and returning, found that their food has improved, but the service is minimal at best with the owner and one staff waiting on all the tables. First time trying Korean in Mundelein IL, overall was okay. Service was decent, ambient was nice, side orders for dishes were decent. The flavor of the beef wasn't bad. I have had better authentic Korean food in Texas. However if you are looking for Korean food that is a little to no spice then start here to expand your taste buds. Cost wise is good.
