Osaka Sushi Restaurant offers fresh and high-quality sushi, with a nice selection of traditional dishes. The Tara no Kiku (cod milt) is a rare find in Mundelein. The Treasure Box appetizer is a must-try, and the variety of rolls will satisfy your taste buds. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make dining here a pleasant experience. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and has a smaller, cozy setting that feels welcoming, almost like dining at someone's home. The fish is always fresh and tasty, and the menu is fairly large, with photos of various rolls to help customers decide. Service is quick and attentive, making for a smooth dining experience. Lunch specials, such as the sushi plate, are highly recommended, with everything served hot and fresh, including miso soup and wasabi with a nice kick. Many customers praise the quality of the fish and the deliciousness of the spicy tuna and salmon, with some mentioning the generous portions and affordable prices. The Firecracker Roll, King Crab Roll, and Kani Maki Roll are favorites among regulars, and draft Sapporo pairs perfectly with the meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming environment. Overall, Osaka Sushi Restaurant is a hidden gem that offers delicious sushi and a friendly atmosphere, making it well worth a visit.
