They were so nice and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed going there and would highly recommend going. The price was very good actually also.

First time trying Korean in Mundelein IL, overall was okay. Service was decent, ambient was nice, side orders for dishes were decent. The flavor of the beef wasn't bad. I have had better authentic Korean food in Texas. However if you are looking for Korean food that is a little to no spice then start here to expand your taste buds. Cost wise is good.

Always double check you bill before paying. Won't be back anymore. Portions got lesser and very dishonest with the bill. Too bad he doesn't care about customer loyalty. Never again.

We found Blue House Korean BBQ while searching for a different k-bbq place to try in the burbs. Our first impression when we entered was a somewhat typical k bbq restaurant, a bit on the smaller side. The restaurant was somewhat busy on the Thursday night. They had one main server taking care of taking the orders and 1-2 runners bringing food and drinks to tables. The system seemed to work for them but it was a little chaotic. We ordered a few different items to try out, unfortunately they didn't have brisket on the menu which is our typical go to order to try the quality and flavor of the restaurant. The food was good, better than average, but we didn't think it was anything special. Nothing about the experience turned us off by any means, but with a number of better options in the north west burbs, we most likely will stick with some of our favorite restaurants like San soo kab san

Having been here many years ago, and returning, found that their food has improved, but the service is minimal at best with the owner and one staff waiting on all the tables. After we sat down to a half empty room, it started to fill up and there were not enough staff, not even a bus boy to clear tables. We ordered the Dolsot be Bim bop and the Yuk Guy Jang, which I order visiting new Resturants to see if they are consistent with authentic Korean food. The Yuk Guy Jang was good but much different than I’ve ever had before.I will try to visit again since I love Korean food too see if they are consistent.Be fore you go, look ? ⬇️ and hit the thumbs ? up.

Went to get some Korean food with some amazing friends. To eat. To catch up on life. This place was BUSY. So glad Judy thought to make reservations. The food was good. No better or worse than any other Korean spot. Although our YuKaeJang didn't have any noodles. But they were kind enough to bring us some to add to our bowls. The service was good. The place was clean. There is a lot for parking.

All I can say is wow. Everything had amazing, authentic flavor that tasted like Mom made it. We had several dishes, from "plain" to spicy and all were incredibly flavored. I've never had chap Jae that tasted like that. Not to mention everything else. The pork BBQ, budae jigae...I could go on. It's on the top of my Korean list for Chicago!

Portions were very small and very expensive. The menu said it was for two but it was barely enough for one person. You get a much better deal at a AYCE Korean BBQ. And an AYCE is cheaper too!

Blue House is a very popular Korean BBQ spot in Mundelein. Diners can choose between cook-your-own Korean BBQ atop tabletop grills, or order a la carte. Our family usually opts for grilling on our own. We ordered the bulgogi, marinated sweet sirloin with cellophane and onions, and mehoon daeji jok galbi, or marinated sweet and spicy pork spare ribs. Each order was in two-people portions, and the foods were more than enough for a group of four. We also ordered a soondubu tofu stew that came with beef and vegetables, but I would have preferred it to have been spicier. Our waiter replenished our banchan side dishes after we finished everything early into our meal.
