I liked this place. It’s a sandwich shop but they have a good variety and Boars head is decent deli meat. Prices are reasonable. They could use a better drink selection. But service was good and fast. Bread was fresh and plenty of meat on the sandwich.
Halsted Deli Vernon Hills is close to my workplace and many of the employees at HydraForce stop there for lunch because the sandwiches and soup are so great. I was there with a co-worker, ordering my usual Mermaid. I put my tray down to get a soda (instead of bringing it to a table first, as I should have done!) and the tray fell on the floor, dumping my sandwich. Fantastic Deli! Fresh rolls generous portions plenty of options.Service was fast and friendly Dining room was spacious and cleanKid friendly optionsI had the "Big Tony" aka Italian, very delicious and can't wait to come back and give the pastrami a try. Saw it on my way out and looked spectacular.
