Eddie Merlot's is a highly-regarded steakhouse in Chicago, known for its first-class dining experience. The bar, staffed by friendly team members, offers excellent drinks. The food is delicious, with perfectly cooked and beautifully presented meals, including fantastic Seabass, tuna wontons, potstickers, scallops, skirt steak, and tempura green beans. The staff is attentive and provides impressive service, with many customers enjoying the charming and delightful servers. Guests have mentioned the fantastic atmosphere, good service, and overall great food, making it a place they would return to and recommend to friends.
The restaurant also offers a phenomenal corn & crab bisque, prime rib sliders, and a popular Barry White martini. Customers highly recommend the social Sunday events. The ribeye is very juicy, the king crab legs are amazing, and the garlic mashed potatoes and green beans tempura are perfect sides. The cognac bananas are also delicious. Despite occasional issues with slow drink service and wait times, Eddie Merlot's is considered worth visiting, particularly for the more tranquil back dining area and the reasonable prices, especially on certain days.
