Awesome place to get some delicious authentic mexican food, with friendly staff and great cooks. Highly recommend!!!!!!
Amazing tacos! They have a good special for taco Tuesday as well. Good is ready fast.

Main Street Tacos 2 is a cozy lil Mexican venue in Hawthorn. The restaurant offers good Mexican fare at fair prices with friendly service in a clean dining space. The menu features chicken enchiladas, steak tacos, el pastor tacos, carne asada tacos, asada tacos, al pastor tacos, gorditas, fries, horchata, and refried beans. The carne asada tacos are the best, and the gorditas are a standout—rich and stuffed to perfection. Every taco is packed with juicy, perfectly seasoned meat and layered with bold, vibrant flavors. The sides are also very good, especially the refried beans. The tacos are normally portioned, and they don't short you on the meat. It is a no frills counter service and takeout spot; if you dine in, you do not get complimentary chips & salsa as it is counter service. Take out service is very good. The Taco Tuesday deal offers tacos at $2.25 ea. The food is made fresh and delicious, and the people are friendly. A delivery option would have been nice, but overall it was worth picking it up. It is great bang for the buck and a go-to joint for family taco dinners.
