“I travel quite a bit and always make it a point to eat at a local IHOP if possible. I was pleasantly surprised at my visit to this IHOP in Melrose Park, IL. Good food and reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and our server, Paige, was outstanding. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Paige made sure that our drinks were always full and she always had a smile. I would come back to this IHOP again and recommend you ask for Paige as your server if she is working.“

“I was a steady customer but will not be returning to this establishment again. Today I asked to sit in a booth and James, the owner said "We're too busy to sit one person in a "big" booth. (I was the only one waiting for a table.) So the waitress wanted me to sit at a table. The "big" booth seats 4. The table they wanted me to sit at also seats 4. The only difference is the booth doesn't hurt my back like the hard chairs do. I'm dying of cancer, which James is aware of, I have enough pain I don't need any more by sitting on hard chairs. Well he won't have to worry about being so "busy" to let someone have some comfort he's got one less patron. I'm done with this place.“

“Food is all homemade ... chilliques are so good with red sauce To die for... The burgers are HUGe.... so delicious.... the fries are like no others and I personally never order fries. So they have to be good.... I did substitute the salad for the fries and was blown away how tasty it was... I mean I'm talking salad right!! Please come visit this beautiful restaurant and tast the real homemade goodness.“

“This small, friendly neighborhood spot has amazing food. You might not even notice City Bear Cafe driving by, but if you are looking for a delicious meal in a down to earth, comfortable environment, check it out! The homemade salsa and breakfast potatoes are excellent. I had the breakfast burrito and loved it. My son had the nutella waffle, which had tons of fruit and whipped cream. Everything was great. We will come back soon.“

She had the bistek skillet & my wife said it was excellent afterwards and I had a steak burrito with hash browns on the side. I took a steak burrito to go for dinner because it was excellent! The food was delicious, hot, fast, priced affordably. They have a large menu. We had some special diets in our group and there were enough options for them to find what they needed. “Stopped here for breakfast, 1st time and I would definitely recommend it. The service was excellent and the food was great (real, fresh, hot, cooked to order)! I had the sampler with oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!!! My other options included the chicken avocado crepe and Mediterranean omelette. The coffee was good, it came to the table in its own thermal to stay hot. I highly recommend!!“

My wife had a half sandwich on gluten-free bread with a half salad, which were both very flavorful and filling. I had a sandwich and the tomato soup, which were also delicious.“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“This used to be our absolute favorite spot. My friends and I would come here several times a week, and we loved the familiar faces on the staff. Sadly, things have drastically changed for the worse. ​We noticed the staff began turning over constantly, and after speaking with some of the remaining employees, we found out why: the owner is reportedly keeping 40% of the servers' tips. Under Illinois law, tips belong entirely to the staff, and an owner taking a cut is entirely illegal. ​It breaks our heart to walk away from a place we loved, but our group has decided to take our business to other local spots that actually respect and support their employees. We won't be back until management corrects this and treats their staff fairly.“

“Exactly I wanted in a little corner diner. No pretense, just good food. It’s a good throw back to old time Corner Diners, without having to replicate it. It feels like coming home. Service is fast and our server was very nice. Eggs were perfectly cooked hashbrowns crispy, pancakes fluffy. My family enjoyed the Greek omlet and the verde chilequilles . Nice size portions. Sorry I only got one picture.“

“We were here on mother's day, I called the same morning for a reservation for 14 people and they were great on accommodation us since we were a large group and it was last minute. Unfortunately its not big for large groups and we had to sit in 2 groups, which was a little disappointing. I will say that the service was great, our waitress was on point and tool really good care of us. Food was good, scrambled eggs were a little runny for my taste but overall good food and flavors. It was my first time here but would go back as a small group at most 6.“
