“Very busy restaurant chain, but don't let that stop you! Everything is good! Hence the reason for the popularity. You would be hard pressed to find a bad menu item! Service is fast and effective, restaurant is clean and I don't just mean in the front! The cooking area is really clean as well! If you are looking for a greasy spoon this is not it! I highly recommend eating here!“

“I had made a reservation for what I thought was Water's Edge, but it turns out it was the Hyatt Lodge restaurant. Apparently, they share the same space, but Water's Edge only serves lunch. That was a bit confusing, especially since no employee was there to greet and seat us. So be aware of that. There were only two waiters, which was fine since it was not very crowded, but it took a few minutes before either of them acknowledged our presence. After that all went well. The food was delicious, waiter service was fine, and dining on the outside patio by the small lake was quite nice on a perfect weather day. A table umbrella to shade us from the sun would have been nice, though. I will definitely dine there again.“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. Thank you guy so much. We will see you guys soon.“

“Stopped here for breakfast, 1st time and I would definitely recommend it. The service was excellent and the food was great (real, fresh, hot, cooked to order)! I had the sampler with oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!!! My other options included the chicken avocado crepe and Mediterranean omelette. The coffee was good, it came to the table in its own thermal to stay hot. I highly recommend!!“

“I have the avocado lotto and it was plenty so much that I have enough for supper. The fruit was fresh and plentiful. The tunafish and cottage cheese were excellent. The patty melt with onions was cooked perfectly. It came with a cup of soup and a generous portion of coleslaw. We will definitely come back here again.“

“The Willow Hills Pancake House was one of our favorite places when we lived in the area six years ago. We recently returned to Chicagoland for a wedding and had brunch with some old friends at the new Golden Century Cafe before heading home. We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the service, and the fresh redecorating by the new owners, Mark and Sandra, since they took over in December of 2025. If you haven't checked out Golden Century Cafe, it would be worth your while to do so. Good food and large servings at a reasonable price.“

“This cafe was incredibly nice looking, very new in appearance. There was table seating area, bar seating, and window bar towards the parking lot. It all looked very new and clean. The bathrooms were great, too. I liked the design of the place and the decorations.While I didn’t play any slots, there was people there using the machines and they seemed entertained.I wish the menu was a bit more expanse, there was not much variety and largely simple foods though not many options. Basically a breakfast sandwich, fries, and pizza. A few baked goods from somewhere else. If you needed to get away and have a place to chill for a while, this is a good place.“

“(2025) Brunch Cafe - Addison, IL I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brunch Cafe in Addison, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! Our waitress, Febe, provided EXCELLENT service—she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, coming out hot and fresh, just as we hoped. From the fluffy pancakes to the savory breakfast burrito, every dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. In my opinion, this restaurant should be rated #1 in Addison, IL for breakfast. No other place comes close to the quality and service we experienced here. Highly recommend! (2024) How ever long is your wait is please wait. It’s definitely worth the wait. Their food is absolutely delicious and our waitress was professional + friendly. Carrot cake pancakes are my new favorite.“

This is the former Rainbow Café, now under new ownership, and they are doing an amazing job. The food was fresh, delicious, and excellent quality, the portions were generous, and everything we ordered was beautifully prepared.

And I have to give a special mention to the French fries — absolutely AMAZING! 🍟😍 Honestly, some of the best we’ve had!

The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, and you can tell the new owners really care about the quality of both their food and their customers’ experience.

“This used to be our absolute favorite spot. My friends and I would come here several times a week, and we loved the familiar faces on the staff. Sadly, things have drastically changed for the worse. ​We noticed the staff began turning over constantly, and after speaking with some of the remaining employees, we found out why: the owner is reportedly keeping 40% of the servers' tips. Under Illinois law, tips belong entirely to the staff, and an owner taking a cut is entirely illegal. ​It breaks our heart to walk away from a place we loved, but our group has decided to take our business to other local spots that actually respect and support their employees. We won't be back until management corrects this and treats their staff fairly.“
