“Fantastic Resturant! all homemade delicious food! I especially love their homemade Minestrone Soup, it is my go to vegetarian food there. The homemade food difference is really noticeable. The food is not overly garlicky, which is sometimes a risk at an Italian place…..but not here! All the employees are so nice and helpful. Delightful cozy warm welcoming atmosphere. Rooms have big windows, which creates a nice modern vibe, much nicer than a typical dark Italian restaurant. The separate event room is all windows, gorgeous!the owner Rosie is wonderful. she’s owned, cooked for, and operated this for 14 years.Dietary restrictions: The restaurant takes care of those who are gluten free, by serving separately the little pasta rings that is part of the soup, without even being asked to do so.“
“When mom was taking me to work, she asked "what do you want for supper after work?" I replied "I want some pizza for supper." So we ordered pizza from rosati's for supper after work, and it was a great pizza and great service. That is why I dropped 5“
“The old time feel of great restaurants of my childhood hit me as I walked into Chesdans. The dark lighting with the smell of delicious Italian foods filled my dark red booth. I ordered the personal pizza with the soup of the day, tomato basil. Both so tasty and the bonus was the price. Very affordable and very home-cooked Italian meal. The service was great too. The owner even stop by to chat.“
“There are no Brown's Chicken in Indiana so when I found myself in Homer Glen I saw there was a Brown's, so I got my Chicken Sandwich which is the best anywhere! The woman behind the counter was nice and quick with my order. The place was clean and the the food was delicious ?“
“Dropped in to order a pizza on a Friday evening. Staff was very polite and attentive, and took care of everything quickly. I had a few Miller Lites on draft while I waited and the pizza came out earlier than expected. They kept it warm for me on the oven while I finished up the second ice cold Miller Lite. Back home and enjoying the sliced beef and hot giardinera pizza. This is my 2nd time ordering Enzos on the recommendation of a friend. Hasn't disappointed me either time, so I will definitely be back. Dining room was empty as it was still early, but clean and ready to go for tonight's service.“
“We were warmly greeted by Chelsea when we arrived. We were seated at a cozy table toward the back of the restaurant. Frank Sinatra music was playing in the background. Our waitress Melissa brought us water to the table with the days specials. There is a good wine & cocktail selection. We started with the shrimp & calamari along with truffle fries for an appetizer. The shrimp & calamari were cooked perfectly while seasoned with the right amount of oil and garlic. The truffle fries garlic aoli sauce was very good, not overpowering. For dinner, we had chicken parmesan served with penne pasta as the side. The portion size was big. The chicken was cooked well, not overloaded with sauce and the right amount of cheese. The other dish order was the risotto of the day, shrimp & grape tomato. Highly recommend the risotto. It was cooked perfectly with big delicious shrimp mixed in with the risotto. As delicious as it was, room was being saved for dessert. Not many restaurants serve flourless chocolate cake, but Frankie's 1988 does. It is served with a carmel sauce, pecans, and vanilla gelato. I have had many flourless chocolate cakes in my life, and none compare to the one made at Frankie's. It is dense, almost like dark chocolate fudge that just melts in your mouth. They also have canolis, tirimisu, and an assortment of gelato. The staff was so nice, checking on us throughout our dinner, ensuring we were never out of water. Frankie introduced himself to us as we were leaving. We had to tell him how amazing the risotto was today. Frankie said that their kitchen is a scratch kitchen and will gladly make items not on the menu if the kitchen has the ingredients. Frankie's 1988 is a 5 Star restaurant nestled in a strip mall in Tinley Park.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free and vegetarian options are available.“
“Picked up 5 16’ family pizzas that were steaming hot and delicious! We got cheese, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon + pineapple and an Italian beef+gardinera. They were all a hit! With 20 people there were hardly any leftovers. Well worth a try here if you’re looking for good things crust pizza.“
“I’ve had the cheeseburgers, Italian meatball sandwich, fries . The food is very high quality, and excellent. The restaurant is vey clean, and they play Music that is very nice( dean martin, frank Sinatra, etc) . This is the place if you want to have high quality food !“
“I’ve been going to Ottimo’s for several years now. Loved the restaurant but The quality and overall experience has been changing. The quality of the food isn’t there so much, the portions have gotten a bit smaller and there are always new servers, that need more training. Not sure if there’s new owners or mgmt but definitely a change. A couple years ago I would’ve given Ottimos a 5/5 but now it’s about half of that as a rating. Last night went for dinner with the family- the bread that was brought to the table was more like croutons because it was over cooked and somewhat hard, it should have never been served. We asked for more bread and the server came back to the table and said not much longer it’s coming out of the oven now. 10mins later he came to the table and asked if we needed anything I mentioned the bread and he said if yeah let me check. The server asst came to refill water and asked if we needed more bread m, I said yes please. Well after all that the bread never came. The O/O on the table tasted stale, or maybe a cheaper brand than normally served. One ordered the walleye special in lemon butter sauce, the sauce was a dark color tasted a bit burnt, very expensive for the size of the piece that was served and served with nothing else. Usually served with risotto- can suggest a side of pasta or even a side salad. Was not worth it. We ordered bruschetta- was bland, and again whom ever was cooking the bread toasted this bread to a crostini. Was very excited when Ottimos opened, loved that it was very close to traditional Italian food, and local (without having to drive to the City to Little Italy)! But sadly I do not feel the same so much lately. Bring back the way you use to be when first opened! Would love to visit that again!“
“I sincerely love this place.. I really fell in love with the pizza... I found this little gem.. and have not been disappointed since... They really have a huge menu and always have homemade soup. Everything is made fresh. They have stuffed cabbage. Pierogies, blintzes.. fresh sub sandwiches. Anything you can imagine they can actually make. I really love the owners, family owned and ran....“
“Our server, Tacho, is the best! He will give you a five star restaurant experience in the south suburbs of Chicago! And… our busser, Juan, is the hardest worker and kindest person! We love our experience everytime we come in. This is a family staple for us and our extended family.Kid-friendliness: This is our kids favorite restaurant! Believe it or not, restaurants CAN mess up “buttered noodles”….but not here! They nail it everytime and they always accommodate our request for crumbled sausage on top!“
“Love coming here. Great owner, great employees. Always friendly and helpful. Amazing deli too got great products at a good price. I get a sub here almost every week now and have never been disappointed! Try the meatballs they are fantastic!“
“We had a great lunch here! We've been living right around the corner for about a year and just discovered Caffe Milan. The sandwiches we ordered off the restaurant week menu were so good! The chicken salad on a pretzel bun was amazing and the chicken ranch wrap was tasty too. They came with a huge pickle spear too. It was the perfect amount of food! Mary was kind and talked with us. She made the experience more personal. We will definitely be back!“
“Right from the start, everything was amazing. Rolls with garlic, nice salads, Veal Piccatta over Angel Hair Pasta ? and desserts were Top Notch - can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: I have a nut allergy and our serving was very accommodating, going to kitchen to make sure it was nut free.“
“My husband and I have been here several times. You never go away hungry. It's not a very big restaurant so don't go during peak hours. The food is fabulous! We've tried the Fettuccine, Ravioli, Pizza, ... and it's always been delicious. The staff are always friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend this place.“
“Aldolpho was our server and he did a great job. He was pleasant and accommodating. We had the chicken sausage and hot peppers pan pizza it was good. The BBQ wings were cooked to perfection. The staff sang happy birthday ? and was extremely enthusiastic. We had really good timeKid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly take the whole family and enjoy some quality pizza and above average cocktails“
“Capri Express Lemont is not just for take out; don’t be fooled by name; it’s the most atmospheric quaint little Italian restaurant west of Sicily. NOTE : don’t be fooled by the phony knock-off Capri Restaurant in Lemont across from the Jewel. This is the real Capri family owned and operated by Andrea Vitello Riviello the youngest son of the infamous family of Capri restaurants located throughout the south side of Chicago. This man used to bus tables at the original Capri in Berwyn back in the 1990’s. A true restauranteur. Over the last 40 years I’ve been frequenting the Riviello restaurants in Berwyn, Burr Ridge, Palos, Willow Springs, and Plainfield and I can tell you that Andrea is the best (il tutti buono). Don’t miss out for a truly intimate traditional Italian experience.“
“I have a hard time with Italian joints because I've grown up with home made from my italian family. This one however, is amazing. I don't think I've had a bad meal here. Baked clams were nice and clean with no sand, the calamari was cooked perfectly and not chewy, the garbage salad is HUUGE and amazing. My favorite dish is the chicken milano which used to be a special only, however if you knew about it, they would make it. Glad to see it's permanent on the menu now. If you want italian food, this is pretty much the best around you find. Thanks guys!“
“Born and raised on Sanfratello’s in Glenwood. I will say it is pretty close to the original. Very difficult to replicate old ovens and pans, but they are doing a pretty darn good job! I recommend for sure, especially if you’ve had the original!“
“One of my favorite restaurants in the South Suburbs for excellent Italian food. Always consistent and delicious with plenty of choices for everyone on the menu. The specials always peak my interest and Toni, my favorite server describes them perfectly! Her description of the wines always has me trying out something perfect for my meal. I had read a previous bad review due to a television with Fox news on the TV! I do not go there for the television and LOVE the atmosphere, EXCELLENT food and great service! Love this place and I will keep going back..“
“Food was hot and delicious and arrived on time. Order was correct. Delivery driver followed instructions.Vegetarian options: You can get pizza with or without vegetable toppings, fries, fried zucchini, garlic bread, salad, mozzarella sticks, spaghetti“
“The Italian party sub we ordered was awesome! We ordered a 2 foot sub and were told you get like 7 pieces per foot of sub.... We thought perfect for a 10+ person party when there was a bunch of other dishes for the party.... but then we get it.... HUGE!!! Really like a super wide 3 footer to feed more than we intended! Huge!!!! And... so good! Definitely a do again!“
“My husband and I have been here numerous times and it never disappoints. Phenomenal wait staff, food and drinks. From the person who greets you, to the person who cooks your food, to the manager who is very attentive, everything is perfection. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“LoveLove love it!Whole family enjoy it.Grandma like it! OkSo.We love the original taste!I fully recommend this place.Service is great! The food came out just in time for all to enjoy.Dietary restrictions: Ask the Chef.Kid-friendliness: Got chair's.“
“The two slices & soda deal for $7 is perfect, its filling & actually tastes good . There’s not many places anymore that offer good food for a cheap price but that deal is definitely good quality pizza for a cheap budget . One slice is pretty filling on its own, the dough is really thick so it can definitely feed two people if you need it to . 2 slices for one person tho & trust me, you’re full for hours . Amazing deal, great quality pizza slices, I will definitely be ordering more often .“
“I love this place! The best combo ever! Perfectly seasoned Italian beef and sausage. The fries were hot. The kid liked the cheeseburger! Can't wait to come back. Super cool staff... chatted it up a bit, very nice. Please cone to Blo-No!“
“We have been fans of Italian Villa Pizza for years. We had out of town family come in and they requested Italian Villa Pizza. Our order was correct, it was ready exactly at the requested pick up time and of course, as always, was tasty and delicious. Our Pizza Friday Night was a success thanks to everyone at Italian Villa Pizza. Highly recommended.“
“The kids and I really enjoy going here to dine inn. Bonus for us they have gluten-free options on pizza and pasta! The last time I was here, I had ordered a salad. The salad was enough for 3 servings and delicious. They have different drink specials on different days, i couldn't pass up a $5 frozen margarita! Always had friendly service.“
“Went Saturday night for pizza. It's was amazing. The dough was homemade. Paper thin crust that is their specialty. The sauce is homemade. The cheese is rich. The place is run by a nice,hard-working Italian couple.Had a cold MillerLite. Doesn't get much better than this. PS The chicken parm is outstanding.“
“This restaurant is very busy and loud so be prepared but hey it’s ??We started off with Baked Clams, fried calamari and they were both excellentDinners come with soup or saladMy hubby had the pork chop it is not on the menu so you have to ask for it. It is a very big portion and you will have leftovers.I had chicken marsala this time and it’s served over a bed of pasta. Very tasty and plenty of leftovers too. We were also served cake at the end without even askingI had a red sangria which was delicious and this is my choice over the wines. Get the red sangria is all i can sayThey also have gambling machines in the corner which we played and won so that was a plusIf you haven’t been here then i recommend you do.Service and staff are greatParking: There is a parking lot but it’s not very bigKid-friendliness: You can bring your kids hereWheelchair accessibility: There is accessibility“

“I went with my family today for the first time. My family really likes Italian food, and we noticed that this restaurant tastes like no other! We’ve tried new things and we really liked EVERYTHING. The people were friendly and the portions were very big. The desserts are delicious!“
“Came here for anniversary dinner. Food was impeccable, service was great as well. Place was full and noise level was what a good Italian restaurant should sound like. Ted gave us a small bottle of his limoncello for our anniversary which was a very nice gesture.. we will be back soon.“
“JOE'S-A TRUE MOM+POP RESTAURANT! I am a purist when it comes to pizza. Cracker thin crust w/ mild homemade sauce + Italian sausage, top it w/ith a generous heap of mozzarella cheese, then cook it well done in an old school pizza oven. Walla - I present to you the most delicious thin crust pizza you will ever taste. Joe's Villa offers other fare but their pizza is my go to. And a large 14" pizza is under $20. If Reenie is your server, tell her Youraverage Gourmet says hello!“
“Their pizza is delicious. My family loves pizza. We have tried many is the surrounding area and nothing compares to Guardi's. It has become a staple for take out in my house. Their service is great (I have never arrived and had to wait for my order) and the employees have always been extremely friendly and sufficient. It's worth giving them a try.“

“Beautiful night out for a NYE dinner here. Reserved in advance for a party of 6 and still had to wait about 30 minutes once we arrived, but no biggie. We were not in a hurry. Service was fantastic as was the food. Our entire party loved their food and appetizers. Loved the fresh warm bread during dinner. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended. Enjoy!!!“
“Have had the eggplant parm sandwich before and it was always amazing. Just wasn't great this time. My dad's chicken sandwich with onion rings and frys were spot on! We will be back to give the parm another shot.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly menu items“
“Today we ate here at a little after 1:00pm. The food was good, the place clean but the one gentleman who was working was probably one of the best employees that I’ve ever seen. He was very pleasant, kind, helpful, served the food, got us anything we needed, checked on us, cleared the dishes from the table, and we left wished us a nice day. I didn’t get his name, but he was a tall, thin black man who surely made our day. Great job Sir!!!“
“Whenever I have a bad taste for a stuffed pizza this is my go-to place I love the sauce that's on stuffed pizza nice and garlicky always made my order right always good quality Pizza never any complaints been going to this Nancy's for quite some time“
“I was looking for a place that serves good pasta dishes, and I found it: Joey's Pizzeria. The chicken limone is to die for! They give you plenty of food (2 breast cutlets), which comes with salad, garlic bread, your choice of pasta, and potatoes. I had a hard time finishing all that food, but I couldn't stop. That's how good it was! Plenty of flavor and seasoning, my palate did a dance with each bite! Reasonably priced, too! Can't wait to try the pizza.“
“We've been to many Italian restaurants in the Chicago area and find this to be one of the best. From the service, ambience and food - it's exceptional. If you know good cuisine and appreciate fine dining, this place won't disappoint. It's really a hidden gem in the south suburbs.“
“We walked in at closing time, but they made pizza for us even though it would mean staying open late. The man that took our order could not have been more likable. The pizza was amazing. And it remained hot until we got back to our hotel 15 minutes away. The price is reasonable. 5 stars all the way around.“
“I've had the spaghetti dinner and the ravioli. My son had the Italian BLT. Everything was delicious service was excellent. Not to many mom and pop shops left and this family owned and operated business is a blast from the past. Will be going back and will definitely recommend to others. Keep up the great job.“
“Tried displace for the first time. The pizza was delicious. Had the sausage and pepperoni. Plenty of toppings! The sauce was perfect. It’s now become my favorite pizza place.!! They have so much to choose from! I’m going back to try some of the other menu items! The owner was there that evening very nice and friendly!“
“I ordered Easter lunch from Rosebud Lemont and was so delighted with the excellent service! I pulled up, they asked my name, and two minutes later brought everything to my car. Great customer service! Plus the food is always amazing. Thank you! Happy Easter!“
“I wish this place would do some elementary weather stripping! The drafts on cold day reduces the habitable tables to only about half of those in the room, depending on the wind direction. This is so obvious a easy fix I have personally suggested to the management and the problem exists!! I guest I will wait for warm weather!!“
“Wow! My husband and I decided to get the jalapeno Mac n cheese as a appetizer, it is sooooo good i love all those green onions, it was the perfect amount of everything! Not too spicy either, spinach manocotti was perfect with the right amount of sauce to last every bite! Skipped dessert til later...but we reserved a whole homemade banana cream to go, Every visit I make sure to take it home! Thank you for another delicious meal and excellent service!Vegetarian options: Spinach manocotti, pastas marinara, fried zucchini and mushrooms, salads, eggplant Parmigiana“
“The pizzas are great, the service is excellent. Jane and Helen do an outstanding job taking care of their customers. They're very helpful, professional. These young ladies are who I'd want representing my business. My hat's off to their parents.“
