The food was cooked perfectly to our expectations. I highly recommend the meatballs. The greeting from Julie the manger topped the experience with her smile and great concern that we had our food made exactly to our of liking. “This was our second time in. The first time we just sat at the bar and had dinner. The food was great off the menu and the staff was very friendly. Our second time in we had a party for 50 so we had a food and bar package along with renting simulators. The food was great again and everyone had a lot of fun! Battista's Cedar Lake has good sandwiches. Really good ones. I have had most of them. It all comes down to ordering one's preferred ingredients the day you order. My most preferred item is the Biggy Big.

The pizzas are the artisan type. They are not family size, if that is what you are looking for. They are good. All fresh ingredients.

I have always used carry out. Very limited seating. The owner and family are super friendly and helpful.“

“Went in not too long ago on a Saturday for lunch, from the time we walked in, The owners greeted us with a smile and were very personable, which is a lost art these days, so we were very comfortable from the get go, at that time we had multiple questions about the menu and AGAIN the owners explained every question we had in detail with no fluff, I ordered Italian Wedding Soup which is the BEST I’ve ever eaten, and finished with The Mostro… Great big portions and the food itself was amazing, we finished with desert and when we got the bill… again we was pleasantly surprised… I recommend to the highest powers that be that Ammirato’s Meatball Cafe is a hidden Gem and will definitely return for a different item on the menu“

She always checked on us made sure we had enough breadsticks. usually, they’re very stingy with the bread. She made sure Had enough refills on drinks before we were completely empty. We didn’t have to ask for anything. Everything ran very smoothly. She was very sweet very kind. She definitely deserves extreme recognition. “I have ordered Rosati's pizza delivery many times. Delivery was excellent however our pizza tonight was definitely not up to the regular standards. The crust was soggy, it was light on sauce, and could have cooked a few minutes more. I will continue to order Rosati pizza as I feel it is the best in the area. Maybe just a difficult night for the cook.“

“Came in on 8/11, after the bad storms that came through. This place was one of the only places open for miles. We were told no dine in and any orders are an hour&15 min wait. They stopped taking orders shortly after we placed an order from who busy that they were. Employees were busting their butts trying to keep up with everyone and handled it very well. I was a bit concerned that our food was going to take a bit longer than their estimated time but it actually came out exactly when they said. She apologized for the wait and was so kind. And even with the crazy day that they were having, food came out delicious!! If they can handle a day like that, I think it's safe to say that this location has a solid group of people working there!“

“I've been going to this Mama D's Pizza my whole life. Love this place. But I gotta be honest, I'd go a lot more if it wasn't for their crazy hours! Waiting til 4pm to open is wild! And only staying open til 9? I get it, times are tight and you gotta do what you need to stay alive. It just makes it hard to plan your day with the limited availability. I highly recommend the place, great tavern style pizza. A little pricey but worth it!“

“My mother was in the hospital across the street from the restaurant, we were tired, stressed and hungry. The food and service were a great comfort. We were given so much food we had plenty for 3 days. My mother said it was some of the best spaghetti she has ever eaten in all of her 86 year. We didn't take the time to take photos“

“Very good experience at sbarro this morning. We arrived at about 11:10, right after opening, and all of the food was out and fresh. Everything looked amazing-we wanted it all. “This place is going downhill fast. I emailed Aurelios in Schererville about an experience 3 wks ago they NEVER got back to me.... we take my mom here every time we visit her. We've had issues yesterday 5.12.24 and the time before as well. I complained about getting the cookie my mom loves because it was brought to the table and was entirely melted ice cream and whip cream so melted you could pour it like water. Yesterday the pizza was entirely burnt and so hard . If they do something wrong and you complain about it believe you will pay for it if you return. This was our pizza yesterday that we asked them to cut in squares. Happy Mother's day to us.“

“The food here is delicious! The menu is huge. If you’re wanting something a little lighter you can opt for a yummy chicken chop salad. We ended up getting the Italian beef and the Ruben. Both are excellent. The Ruben is the best Ruben I have ever eaten in my entire life hands-down you must get! We also had a vanilla shake and the large sizes are ginormous . The food servings are very generous, everything is very shareable. They even have an area where you can grab a beer if you’d like. The restaurant has a large sitting area and there is a covered back patio. Service is excellent and the restaurant very clean. A great place to stop!“
