“Very cozy bar atmosphere. Was there during the Christmas Season and it was decorated beautifully! Very friendly staff! I had an amazing Ginger Chicken Bowl. The chicken was flavorful and moist and I enjoyed every bite! I will order this again soon.“
“We were looking for place for our date night that was open a little later since our kids all had late sport events. This was our first time here. As soon as we walked in we were in great spirits as the place has a cozy vibe. That is until we were “greeted” by the hostess. She came out of the front room to stand at her podium and asked if we will be sitting at the bar. When we said we would like a table she reminded us that the kitchen closed at 9. It was 8:45. We asked if we order quickly can we still order food, she didn’t even answer, roller her eyes, grabbed 4 menus, and walked off….we assumed to follow her so we did. She tossed the menus onto the table and then proceeded to the kitchen. We were about to just leave but our sweet waitress assured us that we were welcome to order and that everyone is there until 10 anyway. We ordered as fast as possible getting our order in at 9, our food came out at 9:20, we all ate as fast as possible and were done and paid by 9:35.The waitress saved the experience, the food was awesome! We had 2 orders of the perch, a Shrimp Alfredo, and filet. Everyone ate everything on their plate. Will be back to try again, but that hostess needs an attitude adjustment.“
“The staff is patient and friendly, the food is delicious, and the menu includes options for all manner of preferences and restrictions.On a late Sunday evening, scooting in from out of town, a bowl of French onion and half a Yard Bird sandwich hit the spot. In the chilly February weather, cocoa would have been perfect ... but as I'm allergic to chocolate, I ordered the white hot chocolate (confident there would be no cross-contamination after mentioning the allergy) and it was spot on!“

After hustling thru the tri-state and the always nasty I-80-94 corridor, this is a hospitable spot less than 10 minutes off the main drag to take a break. If you can, find a window seat where you can look out and enjoy the view of the Old Lake County Courthouse on the town square. The restaurant is mid-block on the East side of the square.“
“Was here for the 1st time recently and saw a band play. I got to sing with them. Apparently a bartender walked out in the middle of a shift while there was a birthday party going on, leaving the 2nd bartender by herself. Even tending all by herself, she was fast and pleasant and kept the line moving. Clean bar, not a dive. Would return.“
“Server was awesome, also she had a lot on her plate, being that she was one of like 2 or 3 servers, I wanted to place a carry out, but our server was so busy. place was busy as well, got my food at an appropriate time, I was really hungry that morning because I worked late and skipped dinner, and went out the next day with the kiddos and wife. so I can't leave an honest review of the food, but I can say is that I didn't send anything back, the biscuits and gravy are not very good either. But honestly I would give this place a 6/10 btw it's so cramped inside, needs a new design format.“

“Went out for a day trip today with no plans. Found this place in a Google search and decided to try it. I'm glad we did. As you can see in the picture, it looks and is delicious! I had the fish and fries, and my wife had the Mac and cheese with pulled pork and bacon. The staff is friendly and fast. Well worth the stop.“
“Delish! At first i thought is was going to be a long wait hostess had said they only had two cooks for the evening. The cooks knocked it out of the park. We got our appetizer in 10 min. My husband and I shared an appetizer beef Cajun tenderloin kabobs that was mouth watering. I ordered the Roasted Salmon topped with Lemon Pepper Dill sauce and asparagus delicious so worth the wait. My husband ordered Rum glazed ribs and chicken he said the ribs weren't as good as the chicken. He loved the appetizer.“

“My hunny and I love this place. It’s great for a local date night. The brisket is really good and the sauce for that was amazing. The ramen is great too. It’s probably my favorite. Just Americanized a bit. It would be nice to have some liquor there and not just wine and beer but for someone who doesn’t care for either, I sure found something. My husband likes the “Pilsner”. I like the “it’s always sunny in crown point” the tastings are free and the portions on that are pretty generous to just be a tasting. They had this slushie for St. Patrick’s day that we hope they keep. It was so good. The atmosphere is pretty cool. The service is good and prompt. Brian is a great chef. This will be a regular spot for us for sure.“
“Absolutely loved this place, the bartender was phenomenal, (her name was Sarah and she deserves a raise for being so hospitable, in my opinion). “Went on Saturday night originally Hostess said 50 minutes wait with large crowd in lobby but it was a couple large parties, we were able to be seated in 20 minutes. They have an extensive beer selection that's not on the drink menu so you need to understand how to use QR code. Found Gumballhead on tap, and a Deshstill Sour dragon fruit mango. Ordered the Naan pull apart cheese bread and Spinach/ Artichoke dip which was the best we have had in a long time very creamy, my wife order the Detroit Pizza , if you like cheese you love it but I'm more a thin crust so it was too close to deep dish for me. I had the Rueben which had in house made corned beef. This place is packed on the weekend so plan accordingly as they don't take reservations. Our waitress was great, can't wait to try out brunch next time.“

“So, we just left here about an hour ago. We were skeptical on going, due to so many bad reviews, but decided to give it a shot anyways.Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Greeted quickly with friendliness, and she let our kids pick out a movie for the back room, which was super cool. No complaints about the service at all. Food was hot and came to our table relatively quick. The only issue we had with our visit was that they were out of numerous things.. No diet pop, no unsweetened ice tea, no cucumbers for the salad, no leaf lettuce for the burger (although they did substitute shredded lettuce instead.) They are closed tomorrow for Easter, so maybe that's why they weren't fully stocked on stuff? Not a total deal breaker for us. The food was still good regardless. We'll be back again, and hopefully the next time they have diet pop back in stock!“

They are so sweet to me I order eggs from them all the time for my dogs. I let them know so they don’t put salt or pepper on it. And they are always so nice Even on the to go container, they’ll put for the puppies with smiles . Always take care of us They pay attention to the notes. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered anything and had them not do whatever I requested and they are just really nice at anytime I call in about my order. They are just always so sweet.! I’ve never been inside, but I’m pretty sure the atmosphere probably is amazing as well!
