“The upstairs bartender, Aaron C. does the work of 2 bartenders. I sat at the bar...he served me my lunch. He was very friendly and fast. The upstairs was loaded with like 50 guests from a baseball team? So he was VERY busy. But that didn't stop him from speed, accuracy and friendliness! Best bartender ! He deserves a raise!“

“Compared to Arby’s in CP, Pops is a different kind of experience! The gentleman taking the order, awesome attitude. Probably one of the best ever drive through I’ve been through. The food is good and it’s my fault I didn’t get the hookup with the peppers and aujus. The service though, terrific! Great attitudes, order was perfect, staff were smiling and happy. I recommend this place.“

“Okay- RUN to Tastee Top. Stop what you’re doing and go. Right now. I literally just ate the best taco I have ever had in my life (I’m from Houston and I have had lots and lots of tacos.) The taco with steak was INCREDIBLE. My husband had a gyro and the meat was soo tender and delicious. My toddler inhaled his cheeseburger. Portion size is wonderful for the price. We ended the date with a frosted animal cookie shake and a brownie al la mode. 10/10 would recommend! I should also note how sweet the staff are. They are all smiles and super helpful. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻“

The owner visited our table, and we felt very welcome and relaxed. our server was Brooke, and she was amazing, answered all of our questions and recommended some of the items on the menu. “The food was phenomenal! I love Reubens and was excited to try theirs. Smokey and full of flavor, the smoke on it was just the right amount and meat was fall apart tender and not fatty at all. The peach sangria was the best white sangria I’ve had in a long time, not too sweet with a bit of citrus, my only regret was not ordering the bottle because it was 1/2 price bottles! Our server was very attentive, offering us suggestions and options when needed and checked in frequently to make sure we were ok. ( the kind of service you’d like but very rarely get anywhere anymore) Overall 10/10 and will definitely be back- Kids were happy with the kids menu, all the usuals were available“
“I have seen this place there since I was young. we were out with some friends and decided to swing in. It is a quaint, little old homey bar. we loved it!!! The building looks like it is original to the town. (I love old vintage buildings, etc). We bought a round of drinks, hung out for a while, shot a game of pool. The customers and the bartender were very friendly!! Be aware they are a cash only bar (they do have an ATM inside) and it is a smoking bar so if you are sensitive to smoke. We will be back!! The one thing I noticed they changed the sign in the parking lot they had for years. I loved how it had a picture of the parking lot and had some cars, but also had a snowmobile and motorcycle parked together. Odd combination....but humorous!! 🤣 We will be back to support this local business!!“

“Spanky’s is a solid spot overall and definitely worth a visit. I’d give it a strong 4 out of 5.
The drinks were the highlight—well made, consistent, and exactly what you want when you’re out for a good time. The atmosphere also stood out in a good way. It had a lively, comfortable vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening without feeling too crowded or overwhelming.
Service was another positive. Attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out in a timely manner. You could tell they were on top of things, which always makes a difference.
Food was a bit more middle-of-the-road. We tried the jalapeño poppers, and while they were decent, they didn’t quite stand out compared to everything else. Not bad by any means, just not the star of the show.
All in all, Spanky’s delivers where it counts—great drinks, good service, and a fun atmosphere. If you go in expecting a bar-first experience with solid food on the side, you’ll leave happy.“

“My family and I stopped by Bombers BBQ in Crown Point on Friday evening around 6:00 PM, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
The food was absolutely amazing. The burnt ends were some of the best I’ve had—tender, flavorful, and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the nachos, and they were just as impressive. We also loved the variety of barbecue sauces available, which let everyone find a favorite.
The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and perfect for a family dinner. Our daughters had a blast playing the quarter candy crane machine and checking out the arcade while we waited, which made the evening even more fun.
Our bill came to about $96 for the four of us, so it isn’t the cheapest place to eat. That said, every one of us took home about half of our meal because the portions were so generous. We felt like we got great value for what we spent, especially considering the quality of the food and the amount we had left over.
Great food, generous portions, a fun family atmosphere, and an experience we’ll definitely be back for.
10/10 would absolutely recommend!“

“First time ordering the Italian beef sandwiches and I will definitely be getting from now on. The bread was soft, the neat was tender and not salty which is amazing because my family has heart problems. The au jus was perfect, not salty at all . My family and I absolutely loved it. P.s thank you for not putting salt on the fries they were excellent.“
