“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

The Pineapple Habanero Wings were a solid 10/10. They also have the coldest Draft Beers I've ever had so that's definitely a plus. The atmosphere was comfortable. I genuinely recommend you give them a try.“

The salmon cakes are one item you want to get while you're there. Despite having great and affordable food, the dining area and dead insects in the window sills need to be addressed. “Locally owned restaurant and bar that caters to the local crowd. Food is very good with daily specials. Personal favorites are the soups and chicken wings. All the food I've had has been good and we visit weekly. The place serves pizza, and it is good, but pizza is definitely a personal decision. Staff is friendly and accommodating. A place worth visiting if you haven't already.“

“Went to the Valpo location this morning and brought my mom along. Was a first time for the both of us. While the food was good, service was excellent, however, I ordered the meat lover this morning which was 3 scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, hash browns and sausage. The only complaint I have was the eggs. While they were good, it was only like 1.5 eggs. did not seem like 3. Thats my only complaint. Thought about ordering a side of eggs to make up for it, but decided against it. Other than that, it was delicious. I will be back for sure.“

“The upstairs bartender, Aaron C. does the work of 2 bartenders. I sat at the bar...he served me my lunch. He was very friendly and fast. The upstairs was loaded with like 50 guests from a baseball team? So he was VERY busy. But that didn't stop him from speed, accuracy and friendliness! Best bartender ! He deserves a raise!“

“Disappointing..the chili/koney sauce was very salty to the point it was nesrly inedible. ..I think since it was late afternoon, it simmered to the point where it became concentrated due to evaporation and it needed some liquid to even out the extreme salt content... the dogs were good, the chili cheeseburger was almost impossible to eat..so messy. Fries were.probably the highlight of my visit the lady behind the counter was excellent though 👍👍 Great service I probably would try them again though....possibly the saltiness was an anomaly“

“I had heard they had prime rib tacos, I have never had prime rib tacos. I guess you can only get them on Wednesday so I called and ordered carry out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The taco itself was absolutely delicious! So savory and moist. I am glad I ordered 3 of them. I will 100% be going back.“

“Our first visit to this steakhouse was exceptional from start to finish. The hostesses were warm and welcoming, and we appreciated being able to choose our preferred seating.
Our server, Melissa, was friendly, knowledgeable, and her recommendations were excellent. Most of all she was thoughtful. When she saw my camera come out she offered to take pictures and after I told her I wasn’t going to order a cocktail due to a headache, she checked in on it later on. She made for a great experience.
The Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked with a delicate texture and delicious sweet sauce, while the ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium and was juicy, tender, and full of flavor.
Chef Arthur stopped by our table and we were able to personally compliment him on the incredible lobster and shrimp dumpling appetizer, which was absolutely delicious.
The combination of exceptional service, outstanding food, and genuine hospitality made for a memorable evening. We look forward to returning and trying other dishes although it’ll be hard not to order the Chilean sea bass and ribeye again because they were that good!“

“Okay- RUN to Tastee Top. Stop what you’re doing and go. Right now. I literally just ate the best taco I have ever had in my life (I’m from Houston and I have had lots and lots of tacos.) The taco with steak was INCREDIBLE. My husband had a gyro and the meat was soo tender and delicious. My toddler inhaled his cheeseburger. Portion size is wonderful for the price. “Katie was our waitress last night and she was so sweet! I had a Blueberry Moscow Mule, and it was made to perfection! We had the guacamole as an appetizer and it was delicious and beautifully presented! My husband had the Sacramento Burger with Cajun Fries & I had BBQ & Buffalo Boneless Wings with Fries. Our food came out quickly and we enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back! We are not members of the Country Club and we love that we get to eat here too! The members we met here last night were very friendly and welcoming.“

“We always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. “We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“

The peach sangria was the best white sangria I’ve had in a long time, not too sweet with a bit of citrus, my only regret was not ordering the bottle because it was 1/2 price bottles! Our server was very attentive, offering us suggestions and options when needed and checked in frequently to make sure we were ok. ( the kind of service you’d like but very rarely get anywhere anymore) Overall 10/10 and will definitely be back- Kids were happy with the kids menu, all the usuals were available“
