“Went there after a round of golf nearby and picked this place outta the blue and was extremely surprised how good it was. The four of us had some beers and 3 ordered food. 2 of had the chicken sandwich and it was the best and biggest grilled chicken sandwich I ever had! Had an order of onion rings and those were awesome as well. I'll bet everything on the menu would be the same. The bartender was great and really took care of anything we needed. Damn good place.“

I even hosted a celebratory dinner in their beautiful event space overlooking the course. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and makes you feel at home. “Just ate here not long ago and I LOVED the food! I had the chicken strips and seasoned curly fries. The decorations were nice too! It wasn't to bright and flash or too dark and boring, it was perfectly lit and had great tv channels and music! The staff was also VERY kind! Hope to eat here again some time.“
“We were heading home when we really craved some hot dogs. We searched it up and Jessie's country kitchen was the first thing. Pulling up you see a two Chicago style hotdogs with a side and a drink for only $10. We came in and she right away asked us if we already had something in mind or if we wanted a recommendation. Really nice and sweet, the food is made fresh when you come in. We saw her cutting up the fries from fresh potatoes. Nice little establishment you for sure have to try!“
“This was first time here. It was definitely a vibe and the peach mango slush was so fyeeeee it had just enough alcohol not too much and have you groovin. The music was nice too and service okay otherwise it would've been 5 stars. In so many instances once we were done with the drinkwe felt rushed we still had the platter left to eat but decided to just go instead. I am now looking at my receipt and there is a tip automatically added even though they have a cash jar Beware! I don't live close and if I come back it's for the Peach Mango Slush. I would strongly suggest a sign no outside food unless it's a live event and if there is a table time limit let your patrons know ahead. It wasn't crowded and we hadn't seen each other since my car crash a few months back during the ice and snow so we just wanted to chill but left because the vibe was killed by waiter. “So I visited the area for spring break and was taken to this restaurant by my Son and his Wife on March 18, 2024. I was very pleased with the ambiance. It's an intimate restaurant with a small waiting area that leads out to the eating entrance that has at least 10 tables ranging from 2 to 4 seats, two restrooms, drinking station used by the employees and the cooking area. The Waitress was pleasant and experienced. The presentation of each dish was mouthwatering as you can see. The taste was very much to my liking and seasoning to a minimum as it should be. The amount of food you get for the price is definitely feasible. Yes, you get your monies worth! The Cook that day was on point and delivered! He needs his own tip jar! The way he made the hashbrowns are unique with this mashed/hashbrown taste that melts in your mouth. My omelet was loaded with spinach, I definitely took in my daily dosage of Vitamin C for that day. Freshness and not overcooked was also key. Restaurants like this are fading away in St. Louis City and we need to "Bring Back America" with this here. In my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, "I will be back".“
“Food was delicious. Catfish is real catfish not Swai like someone else mentioned in there review. Way better than Sharks because it tastes wayyyy better and they are Black owned and operated and instead of our hard earned dollars going back to India and not being spent in our community. Food and customer service is A+ . This place is a must visit. Let's do one better let's support them instead of the swai serving Sharks with there terrible customer service that's across the street.“
“Really nice, cozy place, multiple big screens, a wrap around bar, and booth seating. The drinks and food are on point. I had a steak sandwich it was delicious and tender with an amazing chared surface. It also has a cozy slot machine room. The bar maid was very attentive and courteous. Mature locals like to dine here. Convenient parking in the lot.“
“I didn't order any food when I recently visited Spanky's - a bar and grill located in a small strip mall located at 15213 101st Ave. in Dyer, Indiana. I had a few drinks, served by the very kind bartenders, and really enjoyed the live music with my friends and family! You can smoke in the bar, but it is pretty well venhilated, according to my non-smoking friends. There is a decent sized stage, plenty of space to sit at at the bar or at the tables in front of the stage, and there wasn't a wait for the bathrooms. There were three stalls available in the ladies room, which were clean, and it was nice not having to wait! Prices for the drinks were very reasonable. If music isn't your thing, there were plenty of TV's to watch - showing the news, gameshows, and sports games. I had an awesome time, they had amazing musicians, and I look forward to going back soon!Parking: Because the bar is located within a strip club, parking can be limited. There are signs in front of the businesses that state only customers for that business can park there. There IS free, additional parking located behind the strip mall, though.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar that features adult music. You might just want to leave the children at home with a baby sitter if you're going late!Wheelchair accessibility: There are parking spots for disabled individuals. Those with wheelchairs shouldn't have much trouble navigating the single level bar.“
“This eatery is in a Very Old House. There are no provisions for wheelchairs, and you must climb several steps to get to the dinning area. I would not concider this place as handicapped accesable! Our dinning room was decrated nicely for Easter. It is located in a small town with only on street parking. The Easter Brunch was served family style, on a linen table cloth. We had linen napkins. Reservations were required. We were offered "all we could eat" of; fresh fruit, apple and cherry crepes, buscuits and gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrets, macaroni and cheese, ham, bacon, rosted chicken, and coffee, iced tea, or lemonade for $26.95. There was an omelet station for omelets made to order. Deserts and alcoholic drinks were at an additional cost. We enjoyed each of our "Home cooked" dishes brought to out table. We had an Excelent Waitress! She came repeatedly to our table to ask if we wanted any additional of anything, and to clear used dishes. It has been since before Covid that we have had such good wait staff at a resturant! We did hear from another table near us, that they had special dishes for dietary restrictions. We plan to eat here again soon!“

“My wife and I dined here Saturday night. We thought the food was very good. Began with a French Brie Bruschetta which was delicious. Our entrees included the Jumbo Seared Scallops with Spinach risotto and the Creamy Cajun Shrimp pasta. Both were very delicious even though the risotto was a tad too soft. Our server was personable and professional. We hope more people become aware of Labas Latte and Vino. We highly recommend it.“
“We always enjoy coming here. We recently hosted a surprise birthday party here and it was excellent. It's a beautiful place, very roomy and comfortable. Food and drink were fresh and full for the duration of the party. My husband loves the Cajun pasta, I often order the salmon BLT (sooo good!) And my kids love that they can order a Shirley Temple here :)“

“Let’s start with the food it has to be probably the most perfectly cooked clean food. I have to also give some props for the customer service, there’s always a sweet young man working in the front that never fails to assist in any way. Atmosphere is inevitable to not be the best as in a 5 star restaurant although for chicken and fish and chicken shop it has to be by far the finest I’ve walked into. For everyone whose has the cravings or interest for any delicious fried food I’d highly recommend.!“
