Stopped in for a hotdog and fries today, excellent dog, and the fries couldn’t have been fresher. She cut them right out of the potato while I stood there.

Was parked at the truck stop across the street. Ordered a Gyro w/fries. Price was reasonable, portion size very good for the price. Definitely will stop in again if in the neighborhood. Great conversation with the cook waiting on my food!
Had the lunch special; 2 Chicago dogs with homemade fries. It was exactly what I felt for! Delicious food.

Jessie's is a classic hole-in-the-wall diner with a cool, old diner vibe. The food is real, good season food, way above average. Specific meals like the classic Italian beef loaded with hot peppers, cheese, and gravy, the Gyro with extra meat, breakfast sandwiches, and hot dogs are all absolutely wonderful. The fries are superb. Service is great, with very nice people making you feel at home, though you may have to wait a bit as one woman often runs the whole operation. The place is legit and highly recommended.
