I order a rueben on rye. The sandwich was disgusting and soggy. The meat was like leather. The menu has a totally different price then what I was charged. The menu said $7.00 without fries $9.00 with fries. But I was charged $10.80 for just the sandwich and was told they need to change the prices.But didnt say that while I was ordering. So I got upcharged then went outside to taste the worst sandwich ever. Cook need a hair net

We were heading home when we really craved some hot dogs. We searched it up and Jessie's country kitchen was the first thing. Pulling up you see a two Chicago style hotdogs with a side and a drink for only $10. We came in and she right away asked us if we already had something in mind or if we wanted a recommendation. Really nice and sweet, the food is made fresh when you come in. We saw her cutting up the fries from fresh potatoes. Nice little establishment you for sure have to try!

We hit Jesse's up on the way south for Thanksgiving. If I lived around the area, I would come in for the food and just to watch the personalities that come through. It's like being in a comfy sitcom, and it's all entertaining. The food is great, my cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, the bun was toasted nicely, and the veggies were freshly cut, as are the fries, which also were fantastic. Jesse herself was a riot, telling my kids "Get your drinks from the fridge, it's just like at home!" One of them said that she reminded them of the "bar owner that shows up with a shotgun to save the day in a horror movie." If you're headed north or south on 57, skip the franchises and get your dinner here!

Great small diner, awesome patty melt, and superb fresh fries.
Got food for the first time here. Great throwback diner. Portions were sizeable and the fresh cut fries tasted fantastic. Prices are reasonable but be warned they only take cash (and Venmo, Zelle and Cashapp). Give them a try.

Stopped here after getting ooff I-57 for gas. The decor, the double hot dog special, the breakfasts, and the ladies were fantastic. Been awhile since I was last there ..... yeah, Pre-Covid times.I really appreciated the the staff. I wish them well and I'm really glad, these folks are still operating the restaraunt. Just want to say, I'll stop in next time I come up that way.

I'm not from around here. Super cute little diner type place. Food is excellent! Customer service is fantastic! Spoke to Danni while I was eating, she's an absolute dolly! Would highly recommend this place to anyone passing by!

They have good food. Friendly staff. Fair prices. I especially love that they freshly cut their fries. I recommend trying there chili cheese fries. They are delicious. And if you don’t have cash you can pay through cash app.
