“We were looking for place for our date night that was open a little later since our kids all had late sport events. This was our first time here. As soon as we walked in we were in great spirits as the place has a cozy vibe. That is until we were “greeted” by the hostess. She came out of the front room to stand at her podium and asked if we will be sitting at the bar. When we said we would like a table she reminded us that the kitchen closed at 9. It was 8:45. We asked if we order quickly can we still order food, she didn’t even answer, roller her eyes, grabbed 4 menus, and walked off….we assumed to follow her so we did. She tossed the menus onto the table and then proceeded to the kitchen. We were about to just leave but our sweet waitress assured us that we were welcome to order and that everyone is there until 10 anyway. We ordered as fast as possible getting our order in at 9, our food came out at 9:20, we all ate as fast as possible and were done and paid by 9:35.The waitress saved the experience, the food was awesome! We had 2 orders of the perch, a Shrimp Alfredo, and filet. Everyone ate everything on their plate. Will be back to try again, but that hostess needs an attitude adjustment.“
“Went out for a day trip today with no plans. Found this place in a Google search and decided to try it. I'm glad we did. As you can see in the picture, it looks and is delicious! I had the fish and fries, and my wife had the Mac and cheese with pulled pork and bacon. The staff is friendly and fast. Well worth the stop.“
“We had a small private party in the back area and it was really more than we could’ve hoped for. It felt private and the food was great. “While visiting the area we decided to try this place. Walking in the place was extremely clean and welcoming , there are TVs all around, pool table and dart board . Service was great and food and drinks very reasonably priced. A nice neighborhood feel to the place.“

“The waitress Angelina was awesome! We were a group of 12, and she made sure we had everything we needed and everyone's order was correct. The salad was fresh and crispy vegetables. The lemon rice soup is so good. My husband ordered the Greek porkchops, which he raved about. I ordered the chicken marsala, and it was also delicious. We will definitely be returning and requesting Angelina for our waitress.“
“My friends and I came here to try the karaoke. Karaoke was great. DJ was friendly and fun. Whiskey sours were damn delish. Bartenders constantly checked on us. Garlic knots were BOMB. Place was packed and we did not feel left out at all. People were friendly. Good place. Would come back again. Park across the street.“
“Been to Greg's twice now, once for a band and recently for a Street Magician show! We came as a large group- almost 20 of us! The folks there accomodated us fantastically! I don't recall the whole menu, but seemed to be a standard bar menu plus*. I had a perch dinner that was well-prepared and everyone else seemed satisfied with their meals. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in for entertainment and plan a meal with it.“

In this industry we deal with a multitude of personalities, and any professional bartender would smile and treat every customer with respect. Regardless. It's how we (bartenders) make our money. “First time here. Did not disappoint. Food was really good. You could order appetizers and make that a meal. Portions are big. Bloody Marys are delicious and something you just have to see for yourself. They are huge. Will definitely recommend.“

“2nd time visiting this bar. Cool bar, However, if you want to donate to charity leave your items unattended. I blame myself and not Fatsos (I'm not blaming Fatso but the destitute Gary residents). I forgot people in Gary, IN are broke and need to steal your items to pay for basic necessities. I fill sorry for the destitute person the stole my personal belonging and hope it delays them from getting evicted. Enjoy!“
