“Spanky’s is a solid spot overall and definitely worth a visit. I’d give it a strong 4 out of 5.
The drinks were the highlight—well made, consistent, and exactly what you want when you’re out for a good time. The atmosphere also stood out in a good way. It had a lively, comfortable vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening without feeling too crowded or overwhelming.
Service was another positive. Attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out in a timely manner. You could tell they were on top of things, which always makes a difference.
Food was a bit more middle-of-the-road. We tried the jalapeño poppers, and while they were decent, they didn’t quite stand out compared to everything else. Not bad by any means, just not the star of the show.
All in all, Spanky’s delivers where it counts—great drinks, good service, and a fun atmosphere. If you go in expecting a bar-first experience with solid food on the side, you’ll leave happy.“

“I stopped by here for a bite to eat and had a really good time. The vibe was super relaxed, and it felt like the kind of place where locals hang out to unwind after work. “Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“

“We have been to Bugaboo’s three times now! Love the food, the staff, the atmosphere and will be making this our go to place! The only bad thing I would say is don’t choose the blue cheese dressing (bottled) just ask for more crumbles!“

“It's always a pleasure to go to Old Town the white people treat you so good down there the food is great the drinks is a reasonable price it won't hurt your pocket so I try my best stay away from black owned club because black owned club black owned places are too high and too expensive they hurt black people pocket so old town is the place to go I'm keeping all this 100 💯“
“My family and I have been eating here for over a decade and the food has always been amazing. The hot wings are their specialty but they also offer a great variety of other foods. The people are always friendly and the food is always prepared on time.“

“Hands down, best smashburger . Jacob is a master on the grill. Don't forget to try the wings Great owners and the bartenders are always friendly. Fun environment. They offer table games for larger groups such as Jenga and Cards against Humanity...so fun! Great bar.“
“I called to ask about having a birthday party on short notice for my son’s 30th and during the holiday weekend and received a call from the owner letting me know it wouldn’t be a problem at all! I could bring my own food and decorate and he would have a DJ for the night. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating for anything we needed! Service was exceptional at the bar! My family and friends complimented the establishment as soon as they walked in the doors. We look forward to future gatherings or parties here for sure! It was a wonderful evening had by all!“

“huge shout out to Brittany. thank you for the hospitality and a warm welcome she truly made me feel like I was at my home bar while visiting, beers were ice cold and she was always prompts with a smile on her face not to mention with the recommendation of the BLT which was one of the best BLT's I've ever found next time I'm in town I will definitely be stopping by once again for another round“
