Hello , me and my friend just got off work working night shift last night and we heard from our coworker about this place!!! So we decided to come here this morning right after we got out of work.. let me just say , the people are so nice and gave us a discount for working at the hospital in Dyer! It meant so much to us, Definitely will be back again!!!!. The food was so goooood !!!’…. The place was so clean. So thank you for making our morning.
Just as good as i remember from Scherville & merrillvile locations years ago! Tomazzo bagel is SO yummy! And the turkey sandwich on a sun dried tomato bagel, delicious! So many options, & choices. Always fresh & delish! 10/10!
My favorite place, their bagels are great and the sandwiches are very filling.

The Great American Bagel is a restaurant with good folks, good eats, and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and kind. The establishment is very clean with lots of space to sit with friends and family. The bagels are soft and the food is delicious, super good, and the bomb. Specific items enjoyed include a bagel sandwich, pumpkin lattes, the pizza bagel, coffee with sugar free vanilla, hot chocolate, and the pepperoni tomazzo bagel. It is a satisfactory breakfast and lunch spot. They have a community board and a water bowl outside for dogs. Customers highly recommend it and say it is totally worth the drive.
