“Today I tried Ken King for the first time and I am SOOOO
happy I did! This is a great place for Asian Cuisine!!
They offer a good variety of dishes and appetizers at a super affordable price! The food we got was more than enough to share and/or save some for another meal tomorrow! Also, the food was fresh and flavorful! The service was exceptional and the interior of this cute little restaurant was so clean!!! We will definitely return…probably weekly lol!!“

“The food here is good no bs and they're fast but they're kind of pricey. I don't know when or why Chinese food has gotten so high but they need to chill on the prices. Egg foo young and a large rice should never be damn near 30.00. It cost nothing to make this type of food so yeah good but expensive for no reason.“

“Service is still great … but when closed then reopened, the quality of the food is now NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT (worse). Different chef, perhaps? Not sure what I mentioned it because I always order the same thing chicken with black bean and garlic sauce. The last two times I ordered it after they reopened they used dark meat and it was always always always white meat chicken. Also, the sauce is different. Something’s changed, but I’m just not sure what. It’s still my favorite Chinese restaurant in the south suburbs but they can do better. I say that because they’ve been better.“

“Absolutely the best food around! Fast service, convenient location, and just amazing food. Spicy is ACTUALLY spicy! We ordered crab rangoons (perfect, not sweet, and crispy!), beef & Broccoli (good), general Tso's chicken (mildly spicy, a little bland, but still quite nice), Coconut chicken (really awesome, lightly breaded, crispy, mild spice that builds as you eat), BBQ pork egg foo young (just like childhood!), and chicken fried rice (lovely flavor, lots of bits of meat). Huge portions make it worth every penny!“

I started working a new job a few doors down from this restaurant when I realized they were actually opened. I went into this location because I needed something to eat fast and much to my surprise it was a very good. The vegetable egg rolls were top-tier and the fried rice was fresh and tasty. I will definitely go back it was surprisingly delicious.“

“Have been a loyal customer to this restaurant for over 40 years and have continued to patronize it despite the inconsistency of food quality. Although I have always been treated kindly when I pick up my order, I can see why patrons complain about management, not overly friendly. It is in serious need of an update as peeling wallpaper and drab interior, regardless of the fact you can’t be seated for a meal, leaves one wondering how kitchen is kept up. At one time it was best Chinese food around, not so anymore.“

“My husband and I just found out about this place. We love it! As with a buffet, there are some things you like, and some things you don't. You just do the best you can. As far as the food being cold, that can happen at any buffet. I know to go to the bottom where all the heat is. I always see them checking the food, stirring it, and replenishing it. There is always someone there checking to see if you need anything and taking your finished plates. They have been very nice to us. As far as the paper plates and plastic ware, that's a Covid precaution. There's a Buffet that I go to in Merriville that does the same thing. I don't mind! We usually go to China Buffet for lunch. I'm just going to make sure that I don't go to close to closing time. Oh yeah! They have the most delicious soft drinks ever.“
