“I don’t often leave reviews but this was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. It was the day before Valentines and it was busy. We were greeted and checked in by what I presume is a son or family member. So polite and attentive even at a young age. Our table wasn’t ready so the hostess personally walked us to the bar. When the bartender was busy the hostess took the time to get us glasses of wine while we waited. Again, it was busy but we sat in beautiful ambience while we waited for our appetizer of hummus, tzatziki and spicy whipped feta (which was my absolute favorite). They also served us bread made in house which was like little bites of heaven. My husband had the avgolemono soup which was uniquely served and delicious. We both got the souvlaki- my husband the chicken and I got the filet. We each tried each others and both were so flavorful. I purposefully did not finish my meal so I could enjoy it the next day as well. We have already discussed what we will try next time we come back, and we will. To sum it up (and I hope google translated it correctly) Katapliktikós (Amazing)!“

Unfortunately, the chocolate shake was terrible. It tasted like I was drinking pure chocolate syrup. I wouldn’t recommend getting the shake here, but that’s not what I came for. I came for an excellent chicken sandwich, and I was blown away.

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“

“We always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. We were at the Cracker Barrel in Merrillville, Indiana.“

“I ate at this Charleys location for the first time in a while and lemme tell you, this place is amazing!!! Seems like new management because the place is ten times better than when I had it before. I ordered a philly steak cheese fries boneless lemon pepper wings and a strawberry lemonade and everything was ON POINT! The service was great too, the manager i believe his name is Jay was really nice and helpful. I noticed they have milkshakes but i had no room for dessert the food is so filling and worth the money, definently want to try that cookies and cream milkshake next time tho :)

The sides were good the pork chops were very fall off the bone tender but dry and not really flavorful. The person with me had the blackened and fried catfish it was delicious. I would come back and try a different meat selection but overall nice experience. P.S. My server sucked but hopefully next time I get a better server.“
