The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“

There are only a 4 tables to seat and eat, and if they are full, you just have to stand and wait for your turn. Very homemade meal. “We always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. We were at the Cracker Barrel in Merrillville, Indiana.“

Once again the food was very tasty but tipping would have to be an option and believe me I always leave a good tip.“

“I ate at this Charleys location for the first time in a while and lemme tell you, this place is amazing!!! Seems like new management because the place is ten times better than when I had it before. I ordered a philly steak cheese fries boneless lemon pepper wings and a strawberry lemonade and everything was ON POINT! The service was great too, the manager i believe his name is Jay was really nice and helpful. I noticed they have milkshakes but i had no room for dessert the food is so filling and worth the money, definently want to try that cookies and cream milkshake next time tho :)

Vegetarian options: They have a grilled veggie sandwich that is delicious!
