“My absolute favorite restaurant/brewery in NWI. The food and drinks are outstanding! I am a big fan of sour beers and seltzers and they have such a delicious variety. The chef never misses and each meal is just as exceptional as the last time. They also have a fabulous brunch on Sundays. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!“
“I absolutely love the self-serve/pay by volume system here. I had never been anywhere like this, and it is so much fun to be able to try as many different beers as you like. Plus, the food is great and everyone is very welcoming. Can't wait to come back!“
“As may be seen as the safest taproom in this part of Indiana, tucked between the Dyer PD and Franciscan Hospital is a taproom worth the visit regardless of location and neighbors. Knowledgeable staff are at the ready to assist the first time visitor to a taproom experience or welcome a traveler who can name the top five winners at GABF. Flavor and style shows in the offerings but not taken too serious as the noted icon about is a cat. No question there, with large panel windows given warmth through the western setting sun. So try a pour, seek a wise observation and wonder if life would be better as a cat in a brewery.“
“Super cute spot on Main Street in Crete. Came for a birthday gathering and loved it. The space is cool. I really enjoyed the fun unique decor pieces. Definitely take a look around and take in all the cool features. Amazing pizza at the place above. And obviously fantastic beer.“
“I recently went to smallcakes to order cupcakes for my husband's 30th. Great customer service and amazing cupcakes. Everyone at the party raved about the birthday cake ones. And my husband was extremely happy with his red velvet cupcake. I will definitely go to them again for future parties.“
“We went at 4pm on a Wednesday. We had the place to ourselves. Once you receive your food, you are on your own to refill your drinks and grab to-go containers. No one came to check on us. There were items unavailable to try, but overall it was good.“
“They have been redeemed! I went back and did the tour. Trevor was very hospitable. The place has a rich in history. We tried rum, whiskey, bourbon and Pecan whiskey. The food was delicious, I had the bbq bourbon burger. He even comped us a very delicious bundt cake dessert! I described it as, "a mouth-gasm."“
“Last night we traveled from Dekalb to tour this distillery. I wish we would have allowed more time. The tour we excellent, rich in history. The cocktails, as well as the spirits they produce were top shelf. We will definitely be back to sample the food. The tour alone was worth the hour and a half drive.“
“Ordered here before... usually purchase the burger, but today I had a taste for fish. Therefore, I ordered the Salmon dinner. It was definitely delicious and filled with flavor with the grilled vegetables! Wife had the Spanakopita dinner. This was one of the best we had ever tasted! Service was good for take out! Doesn't seem like a place where many eat on the inside but, still take out is great!“
“The portions are huge and delicious!! The staff is great!! It's a great place to see so many different classic cars!! I also noticed a drawn picture on the wall there that looked a lot like my uncle, and it was lol Definitely will be back!!“
“This is a review for a cool little dive bar that I went to recently. It had a pool table, slot machines, and a jukebox - everything you need for a good night out. The staff were really friendly and there was a good mix of regulars and visitors. The vibe was relaxed and unpretentious which made it the perfect spot to hang out with friends. The drinks were reasonably priced and they had a good selection of beer, wine, and spirits. And of course, the jukebox was awesome - they had something for everyone! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a fun night out.“
“Kendal was absolutely 100% inviting for my first time here. Upon arrival he gave me a hug and welcomed me I complemented his scent He said yeah that’s Friday baby and slid me over a drink I said how do you know what I drink? He said, I just know. Happy Friday!!!then we had some good eats over at bizarro and son, which is conveniently in the same place.. Chips and salsa were top-notch, followed by his personal take on the Cuban, which was absolutely dazzling so I ordered it twice. Currently waiting on my dessert. he even introduced me to the rest of the back of House crew. Steve was very nice and made me a bracelet out of glass right there on the spot. And then Jason who runs like lightning when an order hits the window to make sure it gets to the table in due time every time, he walked by he laughed at all my jokes and one time he even fixed my shirt collar and for that I thank him.I’ll be back. Mark my words.“
“We are in Hammond for my sons hockey tournament and this place is just across the parking lot from our hotel, so we decided to give it a try for dinner. They had a big selection of beers, unfortunately the one I ordered wasn't very good. But that happens sometimes and I had to man up and drink it still. I had the Poutine and it was amazing. We also ordered a salad for my wife and a double cheese burger for the boy. Both were pretty delicious. But lets get back to the Poutine for a minute, this pacific dish had shreaded beef and deep fried jalapeños in it that complemented the cheese curds and gravy nicely. . If we lived closer, we would definitely be dining here often.“
“I really love the taste of the ice cream and the Log Cakes and Birthday Cakes, one of my many favorites are their dipped cones vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and like I mentioned their Log Cakes. Also delicious Banana Split and more....They have good prices on lunch or dinner check their menu on food besides ice cream.Come see and eat and enjoy! My favorite is the location Dairy Queen on8770 S Howell Ave #1, Oak Creek, WI 53154 it's right inside the Pick n Save.Wheelchair accessibility: There is enough space for wheel chairs accessibility.“
“A friend and I dined in for lunch. One of our brisket sandwiches was a tad bit overdone. BUT, when Dominic asked about our food we told him and he GRACIOUSLY took our sandwich and replaced it along with fresh fries. Dominic was an outstanding server.THEN, Dominic told us dessert was on the house for my friend and me.THEN, when our bill came we were only charged for one sandwich and not both.THEN, Dominic brought the owner, Steve, to greet us and he was also very pleasant and apologetic. The overall experience was wonderful. Steve and Dominic were awesome! Dominic deserves a raise!“
“I've moved from the area so I dont' come here as often but wanted to give them a shout out. I really like this place. It's an extra bonus when the weather is nice and you can sit outside. They food is decent and they have a great selection of specialty beers. My favorite is the Toffee beer they offer I believe it's for a limited time. They also have live bands. Service if fast and friendly and the atmosphere is family friendly as well. Grab your family or go out with some friends, this is a great place to dine, gather and enjoy some music as well. Cheers!“
“The pizza was great and the bear was too, but the reason for the 5 stars is the ambience. On a Saturday night, I attended this bar alone. The people were, albeit a bit tipsy, happy, kind, and welcoming. The bartender was a lone wolf, meaning she was the sole investor in each individual customer and I appreciated the involvement she had in my experience. Additionally, there are 2 beautiful and cozy little cats that run amuck, along with an outdoor fire to warm the soul. But the biggest draw factor is the wondrous collection of growlers and glasses from brewing locations across the Midwest, bringing me pride when I located the Land Grant bottle on the wall, which comes from the city of my Alma mater (5 hours away). One Trick Pony might be on a small side road, but I think you should “trot” over if you are in the area.“
