“My first time here and the place was clean with great lighting. I sat at the bar with my friend and we were attended too right away. Our drinks was tasty and made strong. The only thing I disliked was the kitchen closes too early, we got there a little after 9pm and the kitchen was closed by 10pm but you can order chicken from next door. The other con was the location is pretty small on the inside but it’s nice enough to have a small crowd and still enjoy your time there. All of that to say is I will be going back to this place for the drinks and come early enough for the food since other reviewers say the food is delicious.”
“The food was really good i had a Texas burger and my brother had an Italian beef one of the best i ever had i also ordered the Oreo dessert one of the best I highly recommend and very clean place too 10/10”
“My wife and I went there today never new it was there, had some wine and a cheese board.very nice place.dobt miss this gem in lansing ill.people here are very nice !!!”
“Wow! This place is AMAZING!! I've been a few times now. It is always busy but they get you seated quickly, the staff are attentive, the coffee is hot and fresh, and the food comes out quickly. Servings are generous, and everything I've had has been so tasty. The French Toast Crisp is a must try! And if you're a crepes person, I also recommend the strawberries and Nutella crepes. (I think they are called European crepes on the menu.)”
“This is by far the best thin crust pizza in the extended region. If you haven’t had it, be prepared to not go anywhere else for thin crust pizza. If you are local to Lansing or Munster, this is one of the last great dives continuing on.”
“The lady at the counter was so nice, Food was good, over good experience, Well be back.Parking: Lots of parking availableKid-friendliness: Open space ,it's not congested”
“This place is hands down one of my favorites. The owners are so nice and friendly. The food took a little bit of time to get to me but it was so worth the wait! Thank you for the amazing food and the great conversation! I had a steak and chicken potato and it was delicious!”
“Bottoms Up Bar & Grill - located at 1969 Thornton-Lansing Rd. right at the corner of Stoney Island Ave., in Lansing, Illinois, 60438 is the place to hit up every Wednesday night at 7pm for their Open Mic Nights - run by Kerri Mott and his crew - drinks served by friendly staff, and to pick up some tasty food. There's plenty of parking, friendly faces, chances to play music, dance and enjoy music, as well. Come check the place out for yourself. You will not be disappointed - nor do you have to only choose from beer or wine on a Wednesday!Parking: There is plenty of parking. Please do not drive home drunk!Kid-friendliness: This is a bar - not a place for children - however, if you come in early enough, you'll find the staff will kindly accommodate minors with their parents who are looking for something good to eat!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp so wheelchairs are able to access the tavern as well as wheelchair friendly tables!”
“The place isn't fancy - has a "hole in the wall" vibe with only two tables, but the food was fantastic. Their steak was cut super thin which kept it moist and crunchy. I had the taco meal with a steak/chorizo taco, pastor, and a beef tongue and they were all flavorful, perfectly cooked, and delicious. My friend had the chiles relenos and he also commended this dish. The salsa verde was some of the best I've had, and I've traveled in Mexico a fair bit. If you're in the area and want a delicious and affordable meal, this is worth a stop. And the folks there were super nice!”
“Literally thee best subway I’ve been to. Customer Service and cleanliness top tier. And Terry.. y’all never want to loose him! I thought he owned the restaurant his customer service was so top tier. This will be my go to subway!”
“The pizza was great and the bear was too, but the reason for the 5 stars is the ambience. On a Saturday night, I attended this bar alone. The people were, albeit a bit tipsy, happy, kind, and welcoming. The bartender was a lone wolf, meaning she was the sole investor in each individual customer and I appreciated the involvement she had in my experience. Additionally, there are 2 beautiful and cozy little cats that run amuck, along with an outdoor fire to warm the soul. But the biggest draw factor is the wondrous collection of growlers and glasses from brewing locations across the Midwest, bringing me pride when I located the Land Grant bottle on the wall, which comes from the city of my Alma mater (5 hours away). One Trick Pony might be on a small side road, but I think you should “trot” over if you are in the area.”
“OMG! Been missing good juices/smoothies and hadn't seen any here until recently. Baby! @fonseca_nutrition2 is the truth! Delicious and healthy. Sugar free, gluten free and high protein. Tastes like you're cheating on your diet. ? ”
“I don't think the server understood what I was saying. I requested for it NOT to be spicy. And it's definitely so spicy that I couldn't eat. It didn't complain about it because I didn't want to go back out. Just gave it to my son, who likes spicy food. I'll make sure the next time that I get a clearer understanding. ”
“The waitress forgot boxes but she did really good getting our drinks to us and keeping them coming. First time coming here and it was a great experience. I'll be coming back!”
