“Every time I go through Chicago, I buy food from them, and absolutely every time it’s insanely delicious, I highly recommend a plescavica, as well as any crepes, with Nutella, with berries, with red fish, everything is very tasty, thank you!”

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.”

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!”

“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Comfortable sitting, great comfortable noise level, not crowded sitting( we had a wheelchair), food excellent. Pork shoulder outstanding. No stickiness on anything. Best day/meal ever! Thank u Doug”

“I’m a cook, kudos to All out smoke Pit. The best rib tips , turkey tips and the balance of the food. Haven’t had Barbecue like this since Alice on 43rd between Wabash and Michigan Ave. Moreover Alice , there’s a new Queen and King of Barbecue. It’s the best! I have recommended their food to everyone I know. So far no disappointments!”

“Finally made it out to Tea+Poke and I’m legit sad it took me that long to get there. The people are kind, the environment is welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. The pineapple passion fruit tea was the icing on the cake. I couldn’t decide what to get because TBH the entire menu looks delicious. Staff recommended the Korean Beef Short Rib bowl and an I added an orange chicken bowl as well. Both were winners. So much so, I’ll definitely be back to eat and drink my way through the menu. Highly recommend. 🥰”

“My husband Jack and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary tonight, and on a last minute whim he chose Bella Mia. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal, and I had to write this review immediately. The moment we walked in, we were greeted not only by the host and hostess, but also by several staff members and even guests at the bar. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Pure class. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and perfectly accented with soft candlelight, making the evening feel special and intimate. We sat at the bar and were welcomed by Gina, the bartender, who was extremely attentive and genuinely kind, making us feel right at home. The food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The owner, Randy, came by to greet us and his personality was truly infectious. He had us laughing nonstop and made our night even more memorable. We also had the pleasure of sitting next to Marcy and Dick, regulars who have been coming since day one. Even though this was our very first visit, we felt like part of the Bella Mia family. From the staff to the clientele, the love and pride behind this place are undeniable. Bella Mia is truly one of a kind and deserves all the recognition it receives. The way Amina and the rest of the staff recognize us it’s just so heartwarming, they make us feel like family. We are so happy when we’re here and leave even happier with a full belly. The falafel is perfectly crispy, the hummus silky smooth (you can ask for it extra spicy!), pita warm and fluffy, shawarma seasoned to perfection, and Fatoosh salad with house dressing is light and tasty to balance everything. Plan ahead and call in your order with at least an hour of lead time. Dining in? Call ahead and don't sleep on the delicious hot tea with pine nuts to sip while you wait.”

“Bani Beets is a very nice juice restaurant that I experienced for the first time last week. Customer service was awesome black owned and very chill positive environment. The juice was delicious and açaí bowl was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely visit again. God bless”

“I don’t often leave reviews but this was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. It was the day before Valentines and it was busy. We were greeted and checked in by what I presume is a son or family member. So polite and attentive even at a young age. Our table wasn’t ready so the hostess personally walked us to the bar. When the bartender was busy the hostess took the time to get us glasses of wine while we waited. Again, it was busy but we sat in beautiful ambience while we waited for our appetizer of hummus, tzatziki and spicy whipped feta (which was my absolute favorite). They also served us bread made in house which was like little bites of heaven. My husband had the avgolemono soup which was uniquely served and delicious. We both got the souvlaki- my husband the chicken and I got the filet. We each tried each others and both were so flavorful. I purposefully did not finish my meal so I could enjoy it the next day as well. We have already discussed what we will try next time we come back, and we will. To sum it up (and I hope google translated it correctly) Katapliktikós (Amazing)!”
