“Highly recommend this food!! My boyfriend and I decided to try something new today, we were scrolling through DoorDash and saw Babas and decided to go for it! SUPER extensive menu and the portion sizes are huge, for very reasonable prices and seriously tasted so good! We got nacho fries and instead of a sad tablespoon of sour cream the entire top was smothered in it! I could tell they don’t try to rip off customers 🙌🏽 definitely recommend trying something new with this restaurant, and it definitely just became one of our regular spots!“

“This place is the whole package! From the second you step onto the property to walking in and the hostess immediately greeting you with a smile. Check in is seamless and reservations are withheld to the tea (no waiting). As you walk through the inside, everyone greets you. Celebrating a special occasion? Note it on your reservation and they have cute cards on the table wishing you the best. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are prepared phenomenally and waitstaff bring them as they are done. Appetizers? Mozzarella sticks are cheese pull galore, mini meatballs are beyond with the crostinis, and let's just say you can't go wrong with the margarita pizza. Entrees that stand out have been the lasagna, chicken limone, chicken parmesan and pasta with vodka sauce (don't forget to add a protein). Additionally, there's a kids menu and it is truly kid friendly. Don't skip dessert! Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is the crème brûlée with a shot of espresso on the side. Only downside of this place is not knowing when we have something special to celebrate again so we can go back, maybe to even dine outside!“

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. “Mr. Benny's delivers great food and drinks, excellent service, nice atmosphere. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there. Wife had lamb chops - generous portion of top grade meat perfectly prepared. I had Chilean Sea Bass which was excellent. As mentioned above, their drinks are excellent - good pours - nicely presented and crafted. For our meal which included an appetizer (stuffed mushrooms), the lamb chops, sea bass, five cocktails between us, and a complimentary desert our bill including tax, before tip, was $185. Considering the quality of everything this is a very reasonable price for the Chicagoland area.“

I had the corned beef benedict and not only was it the best corned beef I've ever had in my life, but the orange juice was amazing, the service was great, and the value was fabulous also! I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

It's still an amazing pizza and the (owner?) who I've interacted with a couple times recently has been incredibly inviting when you enter his business, super friendly. “This place is huge. You have a different section of bars for everybody country. Heavy metal mixes, they have upstairs. I guess you could go up there. And eat, they got party room.

Because this Samoa-flavored paczki didn’t just meet expectations it absolutely body slammed them. First of all, shoutout to my amazing husband, who casually stopped and brought this home like it was just a normal Thursday and not a life-altering act of love. Sir. You didn’t bring me a paczki. You brought me trust issues with every other dessert. Imagine the love child of a Samoa Girl Scout cookie and a cloud. The caramel? Aggressive in the best possible way. The coconut? Perfectly toasted like it knew it had something to prove. The chocolate? Just enough to remind you that life can still surprise you in beautiful ways. And the dough itself? So soft it felt illegal. I took one bite and immediately understood why people line up in the cold for paczki like it’s a survival situation. This wasn’t a donut. This was an experience. A personality trait. A reminder that I married the right man. 10/10. Would ruin my diet, my dignity, and my emotional stability for another one.“

“I really wanted to love this place because I truly appreciate supporting a family owned business, and the atmosphere had that welcoming, hometown feel. The service was friendly, and you can tell this restaurant means a lot to the people who run it. Unfortunately, the food did not match the experience. Parts of the meal were overcooked and burnt (steak and pork chops), while other items (like the pancakes) were a tad undercooked. It seemed more like an issue with kitchen execution than the quality of ingredients.

I would absolutely come back if the cooking consistency improved, because this business has great potential and the kind of charm you want to support. Hoping they can make some adjustments in the kitchen this could easily be a local favorite with the right chef.“
