“I was walking through the area and saw a sign for “Philly eggrolls” and “Doritos nachos” that definitely caught my attention. I tried both of them, and I enjoyed both. I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to finish the nachos because of the size on the sign, the lady at the register showed me a takeout box for it, surprisingly I ended up finishing the nachos. (Only because I’m a Big Back lol) Cookies were delicious, saved the carrot cake for later:)“

“Highly recommend this food!! My boyfriend and I decided to try something new today, we were scrolling through DoorDash and saw Babas and decided to go for it! SUPER extensive menu and the portion sizes are huge, for very reasonable prices and seriously tasted so good! We got nacho fries and instead of a sad tablespoon of sour cream the entire top was smothered in it! I could tell they don’t try to rip off customers 🙌🏽 definitely recommend trying something new with this restaurant, and it definitely just became one of our regular spots!“

“I LOVE the Oxtail with red beans and rice, Candy yam and plantain dinner. They give you more then enough and it is cooked and seasoned to perfection. Love this restaurant and highly recommend them!!!“

“I've been wanting to go to this restaurant because I heard so much about it.So I had my son take me. The food was okay, very overpriced. they have a special from 3 to 6. The only way you find out is when you go in the bathroom and look at the wall, the advertisement. tacos are from $5-7 dollars. 😒“

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“Excellent in all areas! The risotto special was perfect and filling. The butternut squash ravioli in cream sauce was so tasty. Our waitress , Alex explained all the dishes expertly. “I was born and raised in Chicago. Thin crust tavern style pizza is my go to! I moved to Indiana and miss good Chicago pizza. I had Bartolini s shipped via Goldbelly last week. I am BLOWN AWAY!!! This is the absolute best pizza I have had since I left Chicago!!!! Next time I am back in the area you better believe I will be there!!!!“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. “I really wanted to love this place because I truly appreciate supporting a family owned business, and the atmosphere had that welcoming, hometown feel. The service was friendly, and you can tell this restaurant means a lot to the people who run it. Unfortunately, the food did not match the experience. Parts of the meal were overcooked and burnt (steak and pork chops), while other items (like the pancakes) were a tad undercooked. It seemed more like an issue with kitchen execution than the quality of ingredients.

I would absolutely come back if the cooking consistency improved, because this business has great potential and the kind of charm you want to support. Hoping they can make some adjustments in the kitchen this could easily be a local favorite with the right chef.“

“They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

Absolutely awesome place. Service was greatest I’ve had in probably years (Shawn? Sean?). The GM came and talked to me - really great guy. This monstrosity of a venue is a very tight run ship. Every area of this place was clean and everybody was wonderful. That explains why there were so many people in the middle of the week.

I would challenge anybody who came here and didn’t have a wonderful time to talk to Management. This place is so on point. I’m pretty sure that if you don’t like it, it’s not the place, it’s you.“

It's still an amazing pizza and the (owner?) who I've interacted with a couple times recently has been incredibly inviting when you enter his business, super friendly. That's great but like I said, the pizza is outstanding! I love supporting the small guy. If you haven't given them a try, do it. You won't be disappointed! If I still lived in Orland Park this would be my go to every time! Plus I got to catch the Bears interception play on their TV today when I was grabbing my pizza. 🐻 ⬇️“
