Mariscos El Veneno Reviews
Delicious seafood food, BYOB, family friendly. Ask for Victor, great server!
I came back to this restaurant for the second time yesterday and it definitely did not disappoint 😍🦀 The food tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I ordered the snow crab legs with red sauce and they were absolutely amazing 🔥🍽️ Even the leftovers I brought home still tasted delicious the next day 😋 That says a lot about the quality! The whole experience was great, and I highly recommend giving this place a try because you’ll probably love...read full review

Mariscos El Veneno in Chicago offers a taste of Mexico with flavorful dishes like shrimp in the eye, garlic shrimp, and camarones a la diabla. The restaurant provides excellent service, quick delivery of orders, and delicious meals including fish ceviche and ceviche tostada. Customers describe the seafood as very fresh, flavorful, and authentic, with hearty portions such as the shrimp and octopus salad and the guachinango. The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly, featuring ocean-blue walls and live music that adds to the vibe, though it can get a bit loud. While there have been some cleanliness concerns with blinds and tables, the overall experience remains positive, thanks to friendly owners and staff. Visitors recommend trying the dishes for a satisfying dining experience, especially if craving Mexican-style seafood. However, some have noted that prices can be high, particularly for certain dishes, but the quality and taste often justify the cost.
