“First time eating here and my goodness, it was delicious! The owner Eric was so kind and so was Adil. Customer service was 10/10! We drove from Schaumburg and it was worth the drive. We ordered 3 boils and everything was FRESH! Quality is very important to me, esp when it comes to seafood, so I was very pleased. Everything was flavorful and came out nice and hot. I highly recommend this place and really hope this establishment flourishes. 💜“

“I was introduced to Half Shall about 9 years ago. I must admit hands down the best King Crab Legs I've had in a long time. Let's talk about the Catfish/Jumbo Fried Shrimp. Lord have mercy on me! Very good, very good, very good. The cocktails are not bad either. I've brought family members from the DC location and they absolutely loved the food. I've never encountered a bad waitress or poor customer service. The perfect little GEM in the neighborhood.“

Service was friendly, nice casual dining spot. Great bar choices. The meal was delicious - we had the skirt steak and the flavor was top notch. My meal came with 4 shrimp and prepared well, not spicy. The flavors were yum and truly can’t wait to go back. From reviews the seafood looks delicious. We will try that next time!“

“I went in there last week to buy jumbo shrimp $24.95 per LB. Is there new owners in this place. When I got home there was small shrimp with a couple of Jumbo...I should of took a picture. They use to put the fried shrimp in a wax lined brown bag...now they have a with paper container when I got home all was cold. Not wasting my time..“

​The service was spectacular. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly special, acknowledging our milestone with genuine warmth.
​As for the food—it was phenomenal. Every dish was prepared to absolute perfection, from the perfectly seared, juicy steaks, (I had the 10oz filet oscar style with jumbo lump crab on top) to the decadent sides and desserts. I recommend the crab cake and lobster mac and cheese.
It’s rare to find a place that pairs world-class cuisine with such high-caliber hospitality so effortlessly.

Aaron & the team have modernized the business in the best ways, without losing the charm of the shop. “my family and i went there tonight as first timers. id like to say the food is absolutely delish except the soups. we had the new england clam chowder amd the seafood gumbo and they honestly tasted like can soup. the fried calamri were perfect and the raw oysters were fresh and cleaned immaculately. we would definitely go back BUT will not have matthew as our server. he was honestly terrible. unattentive to us on a very slow Wednesday night in the restaurant. if he came around 2 or 3 times during the hour and half we were there it was a lot and to drop off food. my husband asked for a refill on his drink after 15 minutes i had to get up to look for him and eventually had to bother farrah, another server working. she promptly got him a drink and checked on us several times after that. matthew nowhere to be found until it was time for the check to be paid. his service would have turned my nose at a return but farrah saves the night and the fact wed be return customers soon. also we asked for a small container of butter we recieved a bowl cool until we got the bill and they were charging $6 for a bowlof butter. would have been nice if mathew would have let us know our options before deciding it was cool to bring whatever he chose. he did remove it from the bill when i questioned it but the point is there was transparency or communication before hand. ivell farrah and the good saved the night, sorry mathew you need to work on your service if this is your choice of job“

“I can't say enough about my whole experience with the staff, accommodations and food!! I must have called 6 times changing the number of people and requesting a round table and they were so patient and accommodating. I'm sorry I don't remember the names I spoke with on the phone but they were wonderful. Our server Miguel was great, we wanted for nothing and the room we were in was outstanding. We all had an excellent time I could not have been happier!!“

Unlike other spots where you already have “pre-assembled” ingredients for a poke bowl and just choose which one you want (so-called signature bowls), here you have to build it yourself. The poke was fine. The ingredients are fresh, and since I picked what I like, of course I enjoyed it. The place feels cozy and interesting, with lots of plants inside. My only complaint is that the low white tables are very close together, so you literally can’t move. They need to be spaced out a bit.“
