The place was small, service was with a smile, and portions are big. The "bento box" we received wasn't exactly in a boxed lunch, and not all sides were included as per the menu (i.e. potato salad). Nevertheless, the portions more than made up for it.
Delicious tempura, and great service. The hot tea was perfect for this cold afternoon lunch. The prices were low and the portions were big. Lunch bento was very filling. The shrimp tempura was some of the best in I have ever had.

Manooben is a gem of a Japanese spot, with its cozy house-like ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. I indulged in their scrumptious udon, which was delightfully light and not too overpowering, along with their crispy tempura. The experience was made even better by the kind and attentive service from the lady who took care of me. Highly recommend this place for a solo dining experience that feels like home.
