One of the many bad things about O'Hare airport is how hard it is to find a decent vegan meal. Few restaurants have anything vegan on their menu. This little hot-dog place may be your unexpected best bet, at least at this end of the airpot. It was insanely expensive. Ended up getting the Italian beef instead which was an okay sandwich, but relatively dry. The hot dogs were more expensive than the italian beef. 🤯
A great quick-stop restaurant at the airport! Everything was well organized, the service was fast, and the food was excellent. I tried the Chicago-style chili hot dog, and it was absolutely delicious. French fries were really superb for travelers in a hurry. Highly recommended! 🌭✈

Gold Coast Dogs is a take-out only restaurant located in a tiny store at the airport. It offers a variety of options, including gyros, Italian beef, Philly cheese steaks, and an impossible burger. The restaurant also features a mini-market with drinks and cold prepared foods. The Chicago-style dog is a highlight, with a nice char from the griddle that creates a nice, impressive outside crunch. The jumbo char dog has a great bite with a proper snap and comes with great toppings, a quality dog, and a poppyseed bun. Their nice, medium width fries are a large, hot, and crispy portion. It is a perfect match for the cheesy Italian beef. The staff is friendly and often lightens the mood with jokes. There is often a short line.
