“Gpay didn't work and I had no physical card. After trying the Gpay several times, I gave up. The manager asked for the drink I was drinking back, lol. I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in. I drove out of my way to try this food, but this experience with being asked for the drink back was shocking. #theapartmentlady“

“This place is my go to when I'm hungry and in the area. They have legit shawarma sandwiches the sizes of small footballs. The service is great, food comes out in a decent amount of time, and pretty clean for the amount of traffic that they get. I always do and will continue to recommend this place to others. “Very good food, we opted to try this place instead of taking the kids to somewhere like mcdonalds and paying almost the same prices. Fries were delicious! The kids meals came with a slider cheeseburger, chicken bites, fries and juice so they got to try a little bit of everything. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat.“

“GrubHub left me hanging and cancelled my order without any meaningful explanation. Since I was still hungry and wanted dinner, I called the store directly. Boy am I glad I did! The manager took my call and commiserated with me a bit and suggested that I place my order directly with them via their website. Since I am just across the parking lot and can't leave my location (I was running out of time for my lunch), he graciously offered to run my order to me personally. JC showed up a matter of minutes later with my extremely tasty food and a smile!. I love their Lobster Bisque soup and mine was still nice and hot. Bonus... While on the website, I registered for the Cafe Zupas loyalty program and got a Free beverage! And, even though I have a discount on GH from my Amazon Prime account, my bill was nearly $8 cheaper! Overall, my experience today with Cafe Zupas Schaumburg has been stellar and I'll be ordering from them (directly, no more GrubHub) frequently and encouraging my coworkers and clients to do the same. Now where is that chocolate covered strawberry for my dessert. Yummy!“

“I have been shopping at Jewel for many years. Also I’ve had my prescriptions in the pharmacy I moved my prescriptions to the Fox Lake pharmacy years ago because it’s the closest to me before that I was at the Grayslake one, so I’ve been with them for many years. I’ve had enough. The pharmacist behind the counter has done nothing but give me a hard time about getting my prescriptions, I don’t overtake. I am there just at the time that I should be and there should be no reason he held my prescriptions back. I’ve had enough for one month. I went completely without my prescription because he refused to hand it over same thing happened when I wanted to leave town and get my prescription one day early as the doctor released it the insurance released it, but he would not , I’ve had enough it’s time to go on social media and let them know what’s going on and I put it off. I didn’t say anything for over a year. I’m tired now I’ve had enough!!!!“

“We all know what Minnie Bird is famous for, and what keeps us coming back. The dirty sodas and that delicious free ice cream! They also have so much variety when it comes to dirty sodas that I’m still trying to make my way through them all 😂 When I first tried Minnie Bird’s dirty sodas, I was honestly obsessed and needed one every day after that. My go-to is the toasty marshmallow, no changes just add vanilla and add coconut cream as well and it’s absolutely divine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food is tasty and fresh to order, with a variety of sauces to choose from. The only downside is that the chicken isn’t the most heavily seasoned, so that could be improved a bit, and the bread is a little basic and could use some work So if you’re looking for seasoning, and good bread maybe stick to canes. Other than that, I really do love this place, and Minnie Bird will always be in my rotation of go-to spots! So good!😊“

“I'll tell you about the best experience I've ever had at 1 of these places. I don't know how to prescribe it, but it's just I never remember. I don't know if anyone's seen that McDonald's movie, the founder and Michael Keaton, the founder goes up to a McDonald's and orders, a hamburger fries and a Coke. And as he's getting the change and 5 seconds later, he gets the meal. Well, as you know, that has but if you ever go to some of these locations, I'm not talking about every location. But I've experienced this at the let's see it is the Sheridan road. Location north of laola university and oh my God, I ordered the food. Got the change went to the end of the counter with my cup and the food was there before I made it to grab the cup before I made it to the end of the counter 10 steps away to grab my cup. The food was ready before I grabbed my cup to get my they make get your own drinks but yes, that's the only thing it literally got ready. And was there.So if you want to experience fast food, go to a raising canes just before their busy hours.Say ten p m“

“On Friday, June 19th 2026 My daughter and I went to the drive thru of this restaurant. We did a $45.00 order. As we drove away and we check ed our order, we realized that we were sorted two pieces of chocolate cake. So now I had to waste my time going back into the restaurant to get the cake that they shorted us. They might want to do a better job of filling the order's correctly. Also they had a combination meal sign there but yet the prices are exactly the same as individual purchases. So what's the point of having that there? Even the lady taking the order admitted that there's no discount on these combination meals. Is portilos that greedy that they can't afford to give like a 3-5% discount on these combination meals to give people a little value for the expensive food they buy there?“

“We have never had a bad meal at Mean Weiner. We have ordered in and eaten in the restaurant. We have made many changes to our orders and have never had a problem. Everyone is always friendly and super polite. The value is outstanding. I highly recommend trying Mean Weiner. You will not be disappointed.“

“This place is a must-try if you're driving to Deerfield for the first time. I came across this place while I was on my way to work and I figured I'd give this place a go.

The moment I walked in, I was amazed with what the restaurant had to offer between its sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts.

I ordered their brisket sandwich, which was really good, and I wanted to try one of their dirty sodas as well. FUN FACT: They let you make your own dirty sodas. Not to mention that they also give you a free chocolate dipped strawberry with your order and I definitely didn't want to miss out on that.

The server up front was also very kind and he let me sample some of the soups while I was browsing through the menu.

Overall, great service, great food, and definitely a top recommendation for those living in the Deerfield area.“
