If the Ritz and glamor of the typical eateries in wheeling and Deerfield don't fit your budget, this place is ready to serve you a hot delicious meal without breaking the bank. I can't remember the last time I spent less than $10 on a polish sausage meal, much less eating out in general, but The Dog Walk filled me up without emptying my pockets. Definitely will be a staple for me when I'm working in the area.”

“I came in here not knowing what to expect. The bartender suggested the BBQ. The owner came over to chat and asked whst I like. Told him brisket which they had. He said they also had beef and baby back ribs along with smoked sausage. I got the beef rib and smoked sausage. The beef rib was so amazingly good. So tendrr the bone slid right out. Absolutely fantastic. Cant wait to go back.”

“I've been going to this location since it opened. I was very disappointed to find out that 2 of my favorite people are not going to be there. To say that the place was not clean and the customer service is poor is like saying the Pope is Jewish. Whomever made this decision made a very poor decision. Trish has a wonderful personalty and is very attentive. When it comes to doing her job there is no one better. Scott is very intuned with what's going on and is the perfect choice for someone to run that place. The person who made that horrible review was not a nice person. She would literally ignore me when I would go in there. I stopped going when she was there because she was a mean and petty person. She drove away business. I really will have to think whether I want to frequent your stores anymore. It's the people that are there that make me want to go there.”

“The food was great! Greek salad was fresh and full of ingredients. My family had the beef tortas with which they were very generous with the beef and it was fresh and tasty. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the fries were terrible. I'm a self proclaimed fry master and these fries tasted like they'd been sitting around all day. I would visit again though and ask for fresh fries next time around.”

It is over priced but idk where else to go to get what I ordered.Service was quick but I asked for my icecream very specific and got the upsell talk all the way through it. Very annoying. It's already expensive and don't like the unnecessary extras.Cost of my ice-cream was 8 something with taxes so 9 dollars.Order what I got, lime icecream, it's sweet and sour not really spice but the slight flavor is there, quite acidic but it's good. Just show them the picture I included,no candy straw, or fresh fruit or vinegar. Or you're looking at $11+ for a medium ice-cream cup.On a hot day or every so often. It's not bad. Use their point reward system you register a phone number and get freebies based on your point accumulation.If you're browsing ask for prices.”

“BEST Italian food in Illinois, this place is absolutely amazing. We got the poblano soup and the rigatoni alla traverstin and it was the best pasta and soup I have ever had. I requested it to be spicy, and they made it exactly how I wanted it, it was wonderful! My husband ordered his without the spice and it was just as amazing. Also, it is very refreshing to have a restaurant where all of the waiter and waitresses have conversations with the guests, it was so great to see. We had Susanna and her sister and they were so sweet to us. They all are so hospitable and genuinely great people. We have tried many many Italian restaurants in the area, and this is by far the best one and a must try.”

“First , the smoke and aroma comin’ out the roof exhaust pipes . Lol 😛 Known for their hamburgers , dogs , apparently everything else on their menu is good . Being a member of Chicago Italian Beefs fB page , I just HAD to try theirs . Pretty darn good ! 9.0/10 Sweet n hot , dipped , nice crinkly fries 🍟 comin’ for da ride , and a tamale 🫔 to wash it down . Nice job guys at the PP in Des Plaines !!!”
