“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.”

“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. “Oh my goodness. The best BBQ we have had in Illinois. We have traveled to Tennessee, Missouri, Chicago and all over the Chicago suburbs and this place takes the cake. (Peg leg in Nashville still is the over all best we’ve had) We happened upon Porkey’s after our Chicago plans fell through. Wow!!!!!!!!!! We had several plates of meat, a kids meal, sides, and dessert and our bill was less than $50. The staff were friendly, attentive and they offered great suggestions. I was so satisfied with our whole experience. From beginning to end a great flipping meal. They also had the bears pre season game on. Everything was so tasty. I will say this… and it may be fighting words, but their lumpia were better than stix and noodles. We had brisket sandwich, 1/2 lb of pulled pork, chicken fingers, a bao bun, brisket lumpia and bread pudding. On sundays they also have apple cider donuts so yeah we had those too! 5 stars from beginning to end.”

“We went to Mago in Barrington last night for the first time and were blown away. They were very busy so we sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was terrific and the menu features things you won’t find at your standard Mexican restaurant like three choices of mole. Tableside guacamole is absolutely lovely. I have to say, though, what made our experience was watching the magnificent bartender. His efficiency, speed, and obvious dedication to what he was doing was just a marvel. He never stopped moving! We will definitely be back as every aspect of our experience was very enjoyable.”

“I had such a wonderful experience at this bakery! I tried four different cake slices: mango, red velvet, chocolate, and tiramisu, and every single one was delicious. The mango slice was fresh and flavorful, the red velvet was soft and perfectly sweet, the chocolate cake was rich and decadent, and the tiramisu was absolutely amazing.

The lovely lady at the counter was very kind, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience even better. The bakery itself was very clean, cozy, and welcoming.

“Went to Yakitori Toritetsu inside Mitsuwa Marketplace, The setup honestly caught my attention right away. It looks like one of those little street grill spots you’d see in Japan. Small counter, grill going, smell of meat in the air… yeah, that smell pulls you in fast. No line when I got there. Staff was friendly but very straight to the point. Order, grill, done. Food came out quick.

It’s basically meat on a stick. The grill gives the meat this nice char on the outside, slightly smoky, and the inside stays juicy. The chicken I had was really tender, soft bite, not dry at all. Each piece had that salty grilled flavor that hits right away, then the smoky taste follows after. Hard to explain but it’s really satisfying.

I did think it could use just a little more seasoning or maybe a stronger glaze… but honestly the simple salt worked. It lets the chicken flavor come through more.

Simple food. Skewers, grill, done right. Sometimes that’s all you need.”

Reached out to the manager who wasn’t concerned. Said that in some cultures that people eat bugs. Not funny. Contacted the corporate office and didn’t seem concerned. “On Friday, June 19th 2026 My daughter and I went to the drive thru of this restaurant. We did a $45.00 order. As we drove away and we check ed our order, we realized that we were sorted two pieces of chocolate cake. So now I had to waste my time going back into the restaurant to get the cake that they shorted us. They might want to do a better job of filling the order's correctly. Also they had a combination meal sign there but yet the prices are exactly the same as individual purchases. So what's the point of having that there? Even the lady taking the order admitted that there's no discount on these combination meals. Is portilos that greedy that they can't afford to give like a 3-5% discount on these combination meals to give people a little value for the expensive food they buy there?”

“Okay, you HAVE to try Seattle Sutton’s meals! I’ve been getting them for almost a year, and they’re seriously the best meal delivery company. I actually talked to one of their dietitians before I signed up and they were super helpful and answered all of my questions. There are so many meals I never would’ve thought of making myself, but they’re all so good. The convenience is unreal. You just heat it up. I don't have to cook anything and I hate doing dishes, so that's a huge bonus. Plus, everything is always fresh, like I just bought it at the store. If you want easy healthy meals without worrying about fake or unhealthy ingredients this is 100% the way to go.”
