“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.”

“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. “I love this place. We eat here at least 3xs a month. Everything is amazing! My favorite is the Tri Tip or Pulled Pork. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Its a bit expensive but the quality is top notch. Shakes are really good too!”

“Oh my goodness. The best BBQ we have had in Illinois. We have traveled to Tennessee, Missouri, Chicago and all over the Chicago suburbs and this place takes the cake. (Peg leg in Nashville still is the over all best we’ve had) We happened upon Porkey’s after our Chicago plans fell through. Wow!!!!!!!!!! We had several plates of meat, a kids meal, sides, and dessert and our bill was less than $50. The staff were friendly, attentive and they offered great suggestions. I was so satisfied with our whole experience. From beginning to end a great flipping meal. They also had the bears pre season game on. Everything was so tasty. I will say this… and it may be fighting words, but their lumpia were better than stix and noodles. We had brisket sandwich, 1/2 lb of pulled pork, chicken fingers, a bao bun, brisket lumpia and bread pudding. On sundays they also have apple cider donuts so yeah we had those too! 5 stars from beginning to end.”

“We went to Mago in Barrington last night for the first time and were blown away. They were very busy so we sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was terrific and the menu features things you won’t find at your standard Mexican restaurant like three choices of mole. Tableside guacamole is absolutely lovely. I have to say, though, what made our experience was watching the magnificent bartender. His efficiency, speed, and obvious dedication to what he was doing was just a marvel. He never stopped moving! We will definitely be back as every aspect of our experience was very enjoyable.”

You can choose 3 different street tacos with rice and beans for $15! The staff was very attentive as we were outside dining. And the waiter left us a pitcher of water for the table. It was most appreciated. We definitely will return.”

The mango slice was fresh and flavorful, the red velvet was soft and perfectly sweet, the chocolate cake was rich and decadent, and the tiramisu was absolutely amazing.
