“This place has delicious food. The workers are all incredibly pleasant and make sure your experience is top tier. I've come here on multiple occasions with my friend and we both can agree the food and service have been amazing every single time.“
“I love this place so much. The lady who runs the place is super nice and prices are very reasonable. Compared to some of the other waits for restaurants at Mitsuwa Mama House is one of the quickest to get food from. There is almost always no line and you can get your food within 5 minutes. I normally get the Beef Bulgogi and it is always flavorful and a big portion. I definitely recommend if you are looking to come to Mitsuwa to grab a relatively cheap and quick bite.“
“Our new go-to for Korean. Yes, there will be a wait for seating or none available if you go too late and if you did not reserve ahead. Yes, the service won't be excellent because they get super busy and well, you just have to be patient. However, the food is FANTASTIC and a great selection in their menu. We absolutely love the garlic chicken gizzard (tough to find anywhere!) love love love the vibe, feel like you're in a restaurant in Korea. We can tell that most customers there are also Korean. So if the place is full of their own people, you know it's good! KPop on the TV and fun decor. We love this place!“
“I have a shellfish allergy, and they offer a great variety of rolls and other foods I can eat. They have an impressive menu overall and good-sized portions. The Kamakazi roll is AMAZING. The mochi ice cream is a perfect portion for after dinner.“
“My family and I love coming here! Kid friendly, super clean here and we are always greeted sweetly by the owners and staff and they are so accommodating! One of our go to restaurants. We are always craving their food since there are a lot of tasty options~Few of our top favs!Honey garlic and gangjeong have been the top flavors fried chicken for us, perfect amount of spice and flavor and the chicken is nice and crunchy on the outsideTheir boneless options are good too pleasantly juicy on the inside with a nice crispy texturerose ddeok-bokki- the rice cakes perfectly cooked not too chewy not too hardperfectt texture and the flavors are so delicious. If you don’t have a high spice tolerance this can be a good alternative for you instead of regular ddeok-bokkiKimchi fried rice- delicious can’t go wrong ordering this dish here!We like to order fries and pickled radish with our chicken and it’s byob as well so you can enjoy a nice cold beer all together best combo!! (chi-maek) ❤️“
“My visit to Drop the Dop was truly memorable! From the moment I stepped in, the staff greeted me with warmth and hospitality, making me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to help me customize my bowl, ensuring that every ingredient was just right to create the perfect blend of flavors. The ambiance of the restaurant was strikingly modern, with sleek decor that exuded a contemporary charm. The addition of lush green plants scattered throughout the space added a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, making it a delightful place to dine. Now, let's talk about the food – it was simply outstanding! Each ingredient looked impeccably fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was so enticing that it sparked my appetite instantly. And let's not forget about the delightful addition of a small bowl of miso soup, which perfectly complemented the meal.Despite the high quality and deliciousness of the food, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the meal. With the total cost coming to around $12, it was not only a satisfying experience but also a great value for money. As if that wasn't enough, I was thrilled to receive a reward card that offered me a free meal after collecting 10 stamps. It's gestures like these that truly demonstrate Drop the Dop's commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty. In summary, my time at Drop the Dop was nothing short of exceptional. From the friendly staff to the modern ambiance, delectable food, and enticing rewards program, it's safe to say that I'll be returning again and again for more culinary delights!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free option.“
“My friends and I went a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered kimbap, tteokbokki, and spicy ramen and everything was absolutely delicious. The server and owner were so kind and attentive. We are planning to visit again. Give this place a try!“
“Best experience with food, service, and catching up with your loved ones (friends/family) and wasn't rushed to be kicked out. I think theres a timer, but like I said, they let us enjoy our atmosphere and keep bringing the food without us saying. Great service team, they were all on it as if they were our older relative who we hadn't seen in years and kept us happy by bringing dish after dish. I'm definitely coming back more often now that I discovered this spot. I wish I had known this place.“
“I absolutely love this place! I can be here 2 times a week. The staff is amazing, and super friendly! They make their food with LOVE. Everything is so fresh and taste amazing. And the fruit teas are such a thirst quencher!! Recommended to everyone if they love good “
“Give this place a try when we are around the area. There are many kinds of flavors for us to choose. Since we have kid with us, we decided to try the non-spicy ones. We ordered Honey mustard, original, soy, chili and honey wings. They are crispy and delicious. Foods tasted delicious. Super fast and great customer service. Highly recommend!“
“We usually frequent another family-style Korean restaurant in Schaumburg - which we've loved over the years! Wanted to try something new for a change.Ambience is very cozy - booths (instead of an open space) with traditional touches!Food is DELICIOUS - let's get that out of the way! Some observations:* Salad/sides - tasty, free refills, 5 choices* Bulgogi and pork dish - lots of veggies used as fillers. My kids are 'carnivores' and as such don't eat any veggies. They see meat and attack! The amount of meat we get in each plate is very less.* They should have an option without veggies. We ended up buying 4 plates of bulgogi and 2 plates of pork - just for 3 adults and 2 young kids. One of them had miso soup and I had the bibimbap! Price is reasonable but with volume of less meat, it adds up.* They don't have individual miso soup bowls for kids. It's a large bowl with greens already in it. My kids HATE greens.* Wish there was a easy way to call the waiters/waitresses - no call button and with only 1 person speaking in English, you are at the mercy of that person crossing you or the other waiters passing the message! This also impacts how quickly they could bring things. For ex. we asked for the lettuce and miso paste at the beginning but got it towards the end!* Dessert was a nice suprising touch and we all loved it!Will definitely go back there...now that I know their menu and system better.“
“Hidden gem that’s mostly take out, but they have few tables for dine in. I got the spicy squid stir fry to eat in and ordered kangpunggi to go.Squid was good, however the portion size was on the smaller side… definitely could consumed two orders. Seasoned well and had a kick to it. The kangpunggi was good as well, perfectly fried but lacked the sourness that I was expecting. Overall good experience on first visit.“
“Loved the experience from this place! The food was phenomenal & service was high quality. Ended up getting the beef bulgogi, crispy tofu, & crispy crunch roll! So flavorful and yummy, highly recommend if you're looking for a lowkey Korean BBQ place! Will be coming back for sure ?“
“So this place is an amazing "Pocha" experience! Great social drinking vibe with amazing food. Note that the wait can be 40mins+ and it can get very packed. Now although you might wait a bit, which should give you enough time to have an order in mine, the food comes out super fast once placed. Probably took only 10mins for the food to start coming out.Highly highly recommend the Tofu Kimchi (which comes with pork belly), Spicy BBQ pork belly w/mozzarella, and the Rose Tteok bok ki.Definitely what we were looking for and they also have karaoke which we might come back to try.“
“I was hesitant to start writing, since I wanted to keep the place all to myself! But this would not be fair, so here goes my review. First, consider my vocabulary of superlatives to be already exhausted by previous reviewers. Second, these are the facts: we ate there twice in one week: we had a dinner and then immediately scheduled an omakase. Both time it was a life-changing experience. I kid you not! The sushi dinner was probably the best I ever had this side of the Pacific and this deep inland. In a 'regular' sushi place all sushis taste, well, like the defrosted raw fish with soy sauce. Not chef's Jino's! Each piece was different, complex, and exciting. The omakase performance was on par with a multi-Michelin-star restaurant I've ever been to with the difference being the absence of the usual hits or misses - hits only, be it a souffle, or sashimi, or filet. The host and waiter Danny was helpful and knowledgeable. And the place itself was pretty close to my ideal of a modern upscale restaurant - sleek, contemporary, and yet cosy. To the detriment of my convenience, I can only wish the place to have a month-long waiting list soon enough!“
“The best Korean restaurant in America I work as a driver and I drove all over America and ate in different Korean restaurants, this restaurant is the most ideal the best Korean restaurant, delicious food, super service. I recommend everyone to come and eat here. You had a very good time here. I will give this restaurant a thousand stars. Super, super, super!!! ?“
“Food was great. Traditional Korean food. (Pot stickers was not that great. Very thin)The place itself is very small and they have packed way too many chairs into this place. No elbow space. They would only seat you if your entire party is there. We were 5. But there isn't really a place for us to wait without being right on top of some other diners tables. A bit awkward.“
“My daughter wanted an ice cream so we ran in, she played the clawGame and didn’t win, no worries, better luck next time- as we turned around the gentleman had a prize waiting for her anyways. A small act that made our day. Thank you for the hospitality! Looking forward to ordering next week as well! :)“
“Kong Dog is a unique take on a hot dog and very creative. We had the Cheetos and Potatoes half and half dog. Both were fresh, tasted good and had incredible cheese pull from the cheese portion. It is certainly a speciality kind of a place rather than a quick stop in for a "regular" meal however.“
“Friendly staffs, Cozy and comfortable restaurant for family, couples, groups. Hot tea and water were offered once we seated Refreshing banchan were offered before our foods arrived, it doesn’t take long for our foods arrive. Crispy fried dumplings were good. Beef Raman noodles were not over cooked, The broth flavor was mild, but good. Beef bugogi was flavorful with rice on the side. Kimchee soup comes with noodles on the bottom side hot stone steamed rice along with the order. We all enjoyed our dishes. We get there right when they open. The place fills up quickly. Highly recommended.“
“I never had Korean barbecue before. I was skeptical. Wow! 6+ stars. All the ingredients were fantastic. Flavors I’ve never had before. I highly recommend anything that says beef. John was the best waiter I have had in a long long, long time.??????Thumbs up“
“I wanted to share my experience dining at Koreana Restaurant with you, as it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and ushered to my table promptly. The ambiance was vibrant and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an enjoyable dining experience.I opted for their Korean BBQ, and let me tell you, it was a true feast for the senses. The sizzling meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection, leaving me craving for more with every bite. The flavors were rich and authentic, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs at Koreana Restaurant. What truly set this dining experience apart was the incredible fast service. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff was attentive, efficient, and always ready to cater to any request. I was impressed by how seamlessly they managed to provide such top-notch service without compromising on quality. As much as I wanted to capture the mouth-watering dishes on camera, I was so engrossed in savoring every bite that I completely forgot to take pictures. I guess that just goes to show how delicious and captivating the food at Koreana Restaurant truly is.In conclusion, I highly recommend Koreana Restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience coupled with amazing service. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.Thank you, Koreana Restaurant, for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return and indulge in your delightful offerings once again.“
“Manna is comfort food at its peak. My bf and I found this restaurant when we were exploring the burbs and it left us happy all day long. Service: - Service was super quick and all the aunties were so sweet. They were really attentive throughout the entire time that we were there. - We really really loved the side dishes and we were so nervous to ask for more but they gave us extra because they saw how much we liked it. And as starving college students, that means the whole world. Food: - We got their Gamjatang (Spicy Pork Bone Soup) for both of us and honestly, the serving was more than enough. We didn't expect to both feel full but there was so much meat in combination with the veggies and rice and we were both beyond satisfied. - Broth was really rich and there was such a deep flavor with every bite. We drank the entire thing until there was nothing left. - Side dishes were not just sides in this meal. I loved that there was such a large variety of options that were offered. Our favorites were the pickled seaweeds (I swear its the best that I have ever had) and the Kimchi radish. Ambiance: - This spot is tucked away in the suburbs and it feels just like that. The interior is designed as if you were in your grandmother's home. While we were there, we saw a group of dads, uncles, and grandpas just gathering to have a meal. And it was just so heartwarming to see and this spot is the perfect spot for family and friends gathering. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely be a regular.“
“Beautiful place with beautiful staff. Highly recommend marinated ribeye(number 14) and all dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious. Julie on staff was very kind and overall amazing experience. Highly recommended. Kimchi Fried rice and spicy chicken were also very good.“
“If you like bulgogi beef this is a good place to enjoy it!I had dinner here and the food was really good, the restaurant clean and the service very friendly. The place has parking spaces and the restaurant looks quite cozy inside.I recommend it.“
“Do yourself a favor and grab some friends for karaoke and Korean food at AGIT. A group of us went on a Saturday night and we had a karaoke room for 2hrs. Depending on the size of your group they may add a few chairs in so everyone can fit. Once you're in your room you can start with the karaoke session and in the corner of the TV tells you how much time you have left of your session. They also have instructions on the wall for how to use the remote to choose songs and how to use the control. You can press a button and a staff member will come and wait on you. We ordered a handful of stuff to share family style. We had the bulgogi, fried chicken, seafood pancake, tteokbokk. There was plenty of food to go around and everything I ate was enjoyable. It was so much fun being in a private room and eating delicious food. I wish they would have had plates instead of the paper boats because you can't fit much in the boat and maybe some serving untensils for the dishes. But minor things I could look past. They are located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking avaliable.“
“Great Korean owned establishment. Clean, absolutely great menu, kind service and friendly! We ordered, stir-fried squid and soft tofu soup. Very delicious and I will be back.Plenty of seating and parking!Vegetarian options: All of the non meat options“
“This place is NUMBER ONE! Came to Illinois for a convention, was recommended this place by a few friends and holy cow, I'm not gonna be able to eat chicken from anywhere else for awhile! Their chicken is the literally best I ever had. Loved it so much, I made sure to get take out on my drive back home, 2x in 3 days, and I would have gone a third time had I not made prior plans! Do yourself a favor and TRY THIS CHICKEN!“
“Long overdue review of THE best korean bbq in all of Chicago. Pretty much everything is good but the galbi and spicy pork are the best of the bunch. I make a trip down from the city at least once every two weeks for the food here. Aside from the food, the service is also great, with everyone very welcoming whenever we go. Went again today. Will probably go again next week.“
“During many of my reviews, I left my camera bag on the restaurant floor because I didn't want to disrupt their business by pulling up a chair for another table. However, the server here gave me an extra chair and took care of my camera bag. I've never experienced such hospitality in a restaurant before. And when I needed something, all I had to do was raise my hand, and the server would come over to me. -Seafood Jjampong Stew: It was really good. However, I wish they had more seafood. -Oden Soup: it was on the house. Even my daughter, a picky eater, said it was excellent. My personal opinion is that the service was top notch and the flavors were good enough to give this place a 5 star review. If you're a fan of Korean food, this is a must-visit on your next trip to Chicago.“
“Lisa was great! She was taking all of the orders AND cooking all of the food too! The food was amazing and she even brought out some special bbq skewers that she made! Our first time there she made it so good, and we can’t wait to come eat there again! Thank you for great day!“
“Sooo fantastic! I asked for wonton soup..Korean wings & spring rolls. I'll say that I will be a FOREVER customer now..the wings were the BEST I've ever had,so crunchy and the seasoning was spot on~the flavor was mmmmMMmm also ,the soup tasted like it was JUST made.. i was really happy when i saw that i was given rice as well! ..most importantly for me, this food was REALLY clean and by that I mean -ingredients that were selected & prepared with intent..no "after taste" no grease..just delicious homemade honest food! Thank you!Parking: Wouldn't ever be an issue“
“I have tried a few things here but my go to is the Dolsot Bibimbap, always great and satisfying. The side dishes are always to my liking, they vary from visit to visit, and that is ok with me. Prices have come up but are reasonable. I am often the only or one of the few customers who does not speak Korean there. It is not a fancy restaurant so prepare your expectations for a more relaxed, casual, almost street food style, dining experience.“
“Searching for an authentic Mongolian restaurant in Illinois felt like uncovering a rare treasure, and we hit the jackpot with this place! The staff was incredibly friendly, creating a warm atmosphere, and the food was beyond delicious. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the bento box—a perfect blend of flavors. If you crave genuine Mongolian cuisine, this is the place to be! Highly recommend it for a delightful dining experience.“
“I had a great time at this CM Chicken location. The service was excellent and the food was really good. The fries were nice and crispy with a good amount of salt. The fried chicken was really good 10/10. The playlist in the background was really good too. It really brought me back to the mid 2000s. Above all I was very satisfied with the customer service. Very kind staff and accommodating.“
“This place was so good it was a little pricey but I understand why. The food and service was very good and it seemed very clean in there. I didn't expect for the ramen one to be so good but it was the best. Even the next day I heated it up in the microwave and it still tasted amazing.“
“Atmosphere is quite interesting. I was in the indoor but it felf like we are sitting at outside lolWell in which we had good dinner time.Foods are overall good. My kiddos had 2nd dish after finished first bowl real quick.Tendon dish was super good with Soju but it’s very pricey.“
“Manooben is a gem of a Japanese spot, with its cozy house-like ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. I indulged in their scrumptious udon, which was delightfully light and not too overpowering, along with their crispy tempura. The experience was made even better by the kind and attentive service from the lady who took care of me. Highly recommend this place for a solo dining experience that feels like home.“
“Ordered off grub hub, I’ve always wanted to try Korean tofu stew but have been worried I couldn’t handle the spice, they let you pick the level and have a super mild offering so ordered it and wow!! This was amazing!! It was still rather spicy (I got the kimchi tofu option with pork) but was manageable for a wimp like me and so so so rich and flavorful. I kept eating it long after I was full because it was so good!!! Will be coming back absolutely (also the marinated cucumbers that came on the side were delightful)“
“Stopped in for a late dinner, good service and we were attended quickly. We had the boneless wings since they were out of the whole chicken and bone in wings. We tried soy garlic & spicy galbi and they were tasty! They were both crispy and good flavors.Food was great, only complaint is the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. My girlfriend and I decided to take the food home since it was so warm inside.“
“The food is a great the service is very attentive. I regularly attend for lunch and the food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. You will not leave there hungry and their flavoring and spices are incredibly tasty. This has turned into a weekly staple for me and always coming back“
“I really like this restaurant. I don't know why because I can't particularly say the food is the best Korean food or that they have the best service or anything but something about it is just really nice if you want a humble Korean meal. The price is pretty reasonable for the food you're getting and there has never been anything I didn't like. The service is just okay. It's typical Korean service, sometime they're nice, sometimes they're not. But they were really understanding when we went with a bunch of babies that were loud and messy. My go to dish is the soojaebi, which I don't like paying for since I make a really good version at home very easily, but I feel like something about this place is just worth it. Definitely a place worth checking out if you like Korean food but don't like making it yourself.“
“Korean Spoon is low key excellent! It is a small hole in the wall in a small strip, and while their business is largely catering, they do offer dine-in (Tue-Fri: 11am-2pm). There are also prepared side dishes and foods, like various kimbab and Korean pancakes you can pick up and go. There are traditional soups/stews and Korean entrees/snacks offered. The yukgaejang and kalguksu are very good. While most other Korean restaurants in the area have raised prices and cut back on protein/portions, Korean Spoon continues to offer quality food at comparable prices. The owner is very kind and courteous. Really great place for down to earth homestyle Korean cooking and wish they had more dine-in hours. Check them out!“
“The food here is outstanding! The donkatsu and stir fry were completely delicious. I'm excited to try more dishes. The ingredients taste fresh with plenty of flavor. Everyone is friendly, and my server, Anna, was very hospitable. I will be back! ?“
“I love when I get food that’s super Duper hot and I have to wait for it to pull off a little before I eat it. Everything tasted fresh considering it’s just a corndog. But very delicious toppings and the Kong fries were great. This is my favorite fast food.Parking: Clean ??Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a mall totally open. We parked in a handicap parking space right next to entrance ??“
“Service:Staff was very kind, welcoming and attentive.Food:Serving sizes are more for traditional family style eating. The Jukbal was cold. I know it's shipped to the restaurant precut but they could at least serve it hot after all it is a hot dish. The stir-fried squid was very well executed. The squid silver skin was not taken off, but this is to be expected from most establishments. It's inedible though so I find myself taking it off as I eat. The dumplings, tofu soup were very good. The bulgogi was tender and juicy.I went with a group of friends and we had a great time. There are many fishes I'd like to try again.“
“A nice hole in the wall Korean restaurant. It's surprisingly very spacious inside and very homey. It's close to my place but first time checking it out! I ordered the gamja tang which is a soup made made with pork back bone and vegetables. It was tasty. Lots of big chunks of meat. My dad ordered the kal gooksoo, noodle soup with clams and vegetables. My brother ordered the sul lung tang, beef bone broth with thin slice beef, noodles, and green onions. I got to try a bit of their orders and everything was tasty. The 6 side dishes they bring out are also tasty. We naturally spoke to the server in Korean. She was very attentive and sweet. Prices are reasonable. It's nothing mind blowing but a place I'd recommend if you want some simple yet solid Korean food.“

“We ordered chicken noodle soup, letting the waiter know that we were going to share. They thoughtfully split our order into two bowls and even gave us a little extra. The chicken noodle soup was delicious! The noodles were cooked perfectly, not too hard and not too soft. The broth was comforting, and the chicken and ingredients tasted fresh. It really was the best chicken noodle soup I've ever tried. The service was great too. We'll definitely be back again.“
