This is my 2nd time here and I had a great experience twice, 1 for lunch and 1 for dinner. We tried their Chungkiwa BBQ special and it was very good with multiple meat options, all very good quality and flavorful. My favorite was the beef and the spicy pork.
The servers were super nice. AND we got ice cream after!
The restaurant has a very interesting interior design. I love everything about it. Will definitely come back.
Chungkiwa is one of the most authentic Korean BBQ restaurants I’ve tried. The meat quality was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The side dishes were also incredibly fresh and delicious, which made the whole dining experience even better.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for real Korean barbecue!
I came here for because I wanted to try one of their lunch specials. I ordered the beef bulgogi stone hot pot. I asked for it to be plain (just rice, beef, egg, and gujuchang sauce) but for some reason the waitress did not understand the request. I had to explain it three times that I just wanted it plain and the side dishes that come with it only. She finally understood after a while :-)
