“This is my 2nd time here and I had a great experience twice, 1 for lunch and 1 for dinner. We tried their Chungkiwa BBQ special and it was very good with multiple meat options, all very good quality and flavorful. My favorite was the beef and the spicy pork.
The servers were super nice. AND we got ice cream after!
The restaurant has a very interesting interior design. I love everything about it. Will definitely come back.“

Amazing service , friendly staff , a huge selection of ramen, toppings , snacks and drinks! The store is decorated beautifully and so clean !

The only one negative thing was the kimbap bolgolgi flavor tasted odd but everything was fantastic .
The tuna kimbap was great!

Just a fair warning it is a bit expensive for Ramen so I feel prices should be lower but keep in mind this ramen is imported from Korea and amazing quality!
You can find this same ramen in Hmart where they have products imported from Korea and yes it’s more expensive but really good!

So if price worries you just go for the experience at least once ! It doesn’t have to be an everyday thing!
Reminds me of those small little connivence stores in Korea.

“I cant believe that I'm typing this but KBBQ is head and shoulders better than anything in the suburbs and thats saying something because there are some good places for Korean BBQ. The meat is the highest quality you'll find and easily matches up with anything in the city. Prices are set right and the combos of meats are the way to go. The outside skirt steak is especially food. The loan picture is took doesnt do it justice. Clean and well lit. They have smoke tubes right above the grill so you don't smell when you leave. Excellent service.“

“Tang is a gem. Went here with my friends, and the food was standout. The seafood pancake was crispy and amazing, the Yukejjang beef stew achieved just the right amount of spiciness to heartiness, and the Jjokbal was so tender. This is one of the most authentic and delightful Korean food experiences around Chicago!“

If you’re looking for a good lunch spot, come and get the grill options, you get rice, meat, and Korean side dishes included. Extremely good value. It’s perfect for both a quick takeout or for a dine-in.

For dinner, I’d recommend coming here to try the Spicy Tofu soup or the newer Hot Pot options. If you don’t like spicy stuff, they have really good fried rice and stir fry Korean style noodles too. You can either get a seafood or a veggie tofu soup but there are a lot of other veggie options if that’s your thing.

“1. Food is delicious (I ordered the fried wings and corn with melted cheese)
2. Drinks are soooooo good. Like incredibly delicious and not overly bitter or too sweet.
3. Service is so nice here. Literally such kind and helpful staff.
4. The karaoke machine is so easy to navigate and use. And the fact that most days out of the week, the rooms are free to use for one hour before 10pm. I have been there twice now and I have enjoyed every single thing about this place.

I’ve tried almost every spot outside of the chicken spot in the front and I have to say that what a dumpling is by far my favorite. Reminds me of my grandmas and mother’s food. Homemade dumplings and the broth tasted great. It’s a complete different texture compared to the frozen ones.

The Noona that worked there was great as well and I observed that all the customers that ordered from there were satisfied as well. When you see empty plates and bowls you know that’s a good sign.

“They have Filipina staff who is very helpful. She explained their best sellers and answered all our questions about the menu. She's very kind and very pleasant to speak with. Also, the brisket ramen is very tasty. Portion could be a little bit bigger though but at least it's delicious.“

Including leading us to sit when infact the table was not ready. No iPad either to sign in. The service was good, definitely seems a bit understaffed which seems ongoing. The rice came on a small plate making difficult to eat, a bowl would have been appreciated. We also saw a staff just sitting not sure their role or if they were available to help. “My friend and I dropped into this Korean restaurant on the weekend, and we had no trouble getting seating. We were served pretty quickly, and I ordered a Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot. It came with a side of rice, and there were also those clear noodles in the soup itself. It came out on one of those heated bowls, so the broth stayed hot for quite a while. The flavor was amazing, with the beef, some tofu, and other ingredients blending really well.“

“Love this place. It reminds me of South Korea. It has all the good food and snackies. My only issue is their draft beer is Sapporo (but I get it). They do have bottled Korean beer options. The staff has a call button so if you need attention, hit the button. The have a small patio but perfect for nice nights. The inside has a lot of small booths so it gives that chozy pocha vibe without the temporary popup tent vibe. Still...love this place!“

“I recently had a chance to stop into H-mart to do a bit of grocery shopping and grab some food from the food court. I ordered the beef bone soup, and it was a really comforting and satisfying meal. The broth was rich and milky with a deep, savory flavor, and the beef was tender and well-portioned for the price. It’s a simple dish but done really well. Definitely something I’d come back for.“
