“Visiting from LA K-town and happened to find this restaurant from google search. Their food was delicious and I highly recommend this place! Especially the seafood pajeon/pancake; even better than the ones in LA. It was crispy, crunchy and full of seafood. Their do-gani tang is a must! Friendly service and excellent food 👍🏻“

“If you’re checking the reviews to see which spot is best to eat at I recommend you give this place a shot.
I’ve tried almost every spot outside of the chicken spot in the front and I have to say that what a dumpling is by far my favorite. Reminds me of my grandmas and mother’s food. Homemade dumplings and the broth tasted great. It’s a complete different texture compared to the frozen ones.
The Noona that worked there was great as well and I observed that all the customers that ordered from there were satisfied as well. When you see empty plates and bowls you know that’s a good sign.
Support this business! :) I got the traditional one. No 7 I believe.“

“My wife and I were so happy to visit this Korean restaurant when we were craving some Korean food. The chilly weather was just the right setting to enjoy some warming Korean soups, and we were really looking forward to trying it out.
To make sure we didn’t miss anything, I had already looked over the menu and made my choice.
Overall, we had great service, and the food was absolutely delicious. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying their other soups, which I’m sure are just as amazing.“

“The toast and dogs are amazing. French fries are crisp and delicious. We also tried the boba tea and it was good. Limited seating was a bit difficult but it is inside a store. A sign said tanghulu so we have it a try. It was frozen solid and almost impossible to eat. If delicious eat here again but probably pass on the tanghulu.“

“Unbelievably tasty! As a picky eater and someone who doesn’t clean chicken wings, I left nothing but bone! On top of that the service and packaging is beyond thoughtful :)“

“Very nice place! The seafood ramen is the best I’ve ever tried. It has a lot of seafood and the portion is big. Special thanks for the appetizers — they are also very tasty. I always order this ramen whenever I come to this store. The service is excellent — everyone is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!“

“If you are looking for the absolute best Korean dining experience in Chicago, look no further! The food here is top-tier and authentic, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible service. The waitstaff are not only professional but also incredibly witty and humorous—they had us laughing and smiling throughout the entire meal. It made our dining experience truly memorable. If you I cannot recommend this place enough as your starting point!“

“This spot is amazing, one of the best Korean BBQ spots I've been too! It is a traditional Kbbq spot with traditional bonchon, but the quality of meats, sauces, and sides is amazing. For $32 ayce, it includes two types of short rib, marinated pork neck, pork brisket, and prime brisket and beef belly, that is the best bang for your buck I have seen and the quality is superb. I will definitely be coming back!“

“The food is good but make sure to check your bag I tipped and asked her did she put soy sauce in the bag and she said yes knowing she didn’t and I have a large shrimp fried rice for little ones and no sauce ugh I’m more mad at the lie if it was a accident then ok but for me ask and tip and not get what I asked for is a slap in the face!“

“I didn’t dine, but it was decent sized space. The host was very receptive as soon I walked in to pick my order. Very great service from initial experience. The food was delicious especially the fried chicken. The Rose Deokkbokki was really great as well. The Kimchi Fried rice hit the spot for sure. Very genuine Korean tasting food.“

“Our little family has been regulars here, and honestly, this place never misses. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and it’s always one of those spots we’re genuinely excited to come back to.
Our top three favorites are the popcorn chicken cupbob, the beef brisket jjamppong, and the beef brisket jajangmyeon. The popcorn chicken cupbob is a must-try—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with rice and japchae. The beef brisket dishes are rich, comforting, and packed with bold flavor, and the portions are big enough that sharing is easy (and encouraged). One bowl is more than enough for two people.
The spice level of the jjamppong is just right—not too spicy, just the kind that warms you up and makes winter feel a little more bearable. Add fast, friendly service, and you’ve got a winning combo.
If you’re already at H Mart or hunting for a food court gem with big flavors and even bigger portions, this spot is definitely worth a stop—and probably a repeat visit.“
