Wow. This was my first time trying Korean food. I tried the pork kimchi and wow was it amazing. I have never tasted anything quite like it. I have a sensitive stomach and it never upset my stomach. The ingredients tasted so fresh and so good. I will be back to try more of the menu!
Korean spoon has been around since before the pandemic, and did super well despite the pandemic. They offer so much to-go banchan serving local Korean community, high quality and quantity homemade banchan. You can't find that just anywhere except a few places in Niles/Glenview.Their parking lot was a struggle as it literally is off the road parking, but there are generally enough spaces for 8+ cars. Korean Spoon is low key excellent! It is a small hole in the wall in a small strip, and while their business is largely catering, they do offer dine-in (Tue-Fri: 11am-2pm). There are also prepared side dishes and foods, like various kimbab and Korean pancakes you can pick up and go. There are traditional soups/stews and Korean entrees/snacks offered.
