“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

It's a place full of locals that you can only find here!! It's got a fascinating back story and a ton of not just local history but Chicago history.! This is one of the places that the Irish Mafia used to hang out in!!! A place where the murder mystery is alive and unsolved!!! You come to a place like this and you can feel the history, feel it in your soul!! You want to check this place out!!! Ask anyone here about the history and they will tell you straight out!! Are you in the mood for a drink??? Get it here!! Are you in the mood for a quick bite?? Well you can get it here too along with a nice fresh tap or bottle of what ever beer you like!!! “I ate here twice. Cesar salad with grilled chicken was very good, a little heavy on the dressi g for my liking. I also had the chicken wings which were average, a little too crispy in my opinion, but celery was very fresh and was very good with the blue cheese. Second visit, I had the Italian Wedding soup. Soup was delicious and hot, perfectly paired with the buttery toast that just melted in my mouth with the soup broth and was perfect for dipping!! I also had the market salad with medium rare steak. Salad was big and steak was cook as requested. The soup with toast was definitely the highlight for me. Prices are on the high end, but I didn't leave hungry. Perfect spot when staying at the hotel and don't feel like going out.“

“The restaurant was great, excellent food and service. It's part of the Hilton Hotel and the parking is self service, but there is a fee for the lot. However, the restaurant does validate so there's no fee to park when dining there.“

“I'm traveling for work, just landed in Chicago, went to go to the USO, and was told, as a veteran having had deployed to Iraq, that I am not allowed in the USO by some civilian. That's wild. Guy said he needed DoD id, then I pointed to where my member ID was. He said not good enough and told me I had to leave. I've gone to a lot of USO's and never been turned away as a vet.“
