The regulars are split between morning and evening hours, with a few floaters. We welcome folks to the community, catch up on happenings, and bring a little joy each day. Mandy, the chef, compiles an amazing array of food items, from cinnamon rolls and coffee cakes, to casseroles and egg sandwiches during the morning, and a variety of sandwiches in the afternoons. The spot has outdoor seating on the sidewalk, as well as a dedicated secluded covered alley space with ample seating and ambience. Summertime events include covered alleyway cookouts and inclusion of other local businesses for special bites. Evenings can feature a quiet bar, karaoke, or live music. With a recently announced addition of Jeff Urso, a local restauranteur, to the ownership, 2024 is anticipated to be a great year for Prairie. Would highly recommend checking out this local gem.“

“I stopped on a late night to have a couple of drinks thinking that actually I was not going to be able to order any food at all but they can make a pizza after the kitchen closes so that really made my night because I didn't know where else to go around the area. “My favorite pizza in the area! Gluten-free friendly, amazing food and even better service. I had a large pickup order today for myself and my family and when I arrived the kitchen manager came out to describe that they had to restart one of the pizzas, offering to let me go now with the rest of my order - plus the messup free for extra snackage - and that he would come deliver the remake himself in a bit so I didn’t have to wait. The entire staff was so friendly, kind and accommodating during the pickup and communication process. If you haven’t had Kaisers, what’re ya doin??“

“Great bar and food would recommend to everyone“

“Great food! Amazing Salads. The place has a great atmosphere, wait staff is very nice but SLOW. Busy Friday night they have to do better. Note to management, when you have mostly adults and people bring in young children that scream get an area away from people who want to talk.“

“We were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and found Jen G's. It was exactly what we needed. The chicken wings and fried cheese curds were delicious and prepared perfectly. Our waitress, Ashley, and the owner, were very pleasant and personable. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely come eat here. “Unfortunately, we decided to stop by after work to celebrate Mother’s Day; there are few establishments open after 20:00 in the area. The guys worked, but only as a bar and we were left without the much-praised steaks. We promise to come back and still try them.“

“PS Pub truly exhibits everything a neighborhood bar is supposed to be good people unwinding enjoying different ales and spirits sharing conversation and having a laugh. up until now I've always shopped at the liquor store next door, I stopped in for my favorite blue moon with a wedge of Orange ice cold and on tap well I guess I found myself having a few and when I'm feeling that way I gaze upon the pretty bottles of spirits Tequila's rums whiskeys from all over the place and that little demon in my belly says "send it my way" so I settled on a peanut butter whiskey I love them if that's your thing you know they have malort which I've never actually tried I hear it's an acquired taste perhaps another time they've got a nice little popcorn machine that puts it out I like to snack a bit while I'm putting them down. friendly service really nice people from the neighborhood and a great place to unwind. so although it doesn't look like much from the outside you know judging that book by its cover thing stop in belly up and enjoy yourself“

“I was in the NAVY at this time and family came to visit during A-School
An experience I would never ever forget. Just very nice and a great atmosphere. My family was very very happy to visit and be there. My Dad, Mom and oldest brother. Very happy and meaningful memories. It was in 2012, but I remember it like it was yesterday!.) I wish I could find those photos. Bit I will keep looking for them.“

“Always a good time! Sit in the bar room. Very important for the Nitengale vibe. Have kids? Don’t sit in the bar room. Sit in the other dinning room where you’ll be able to hear your kids talk. The food? Never had a bad meal. I’d venture to say that this Resturant is amoung the top three in Highland Park.

“My husband and I really enjoyed this brewery on our vacation. The cherry vanilla sour was a great sour beer with a natural cherry flavor. The cheese curds were crispy and flavorful and the ranch tasted homemade. My husband enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger and I really enjoyed the blackened shrimp wrap. Previous reviews mentioned poor service, but we thought our server, Owen, was great. He was knowledgeable about the beer selections and helped me pick the right meal. We sat on the patio which is nice with string lights and vining plants.“
