This is literally the ROLLS ROYCE of coffee. Once you get used to drinking their coffee, it’s kinda hard to drink anything else.
the coffee beans are excellent for hot coffee and they have a great iced coffee
the owner Dave is genuinely nice and helpful..... it was super cool seeing the roasting gear..... the facility is super tidy and organized... most importantly, the Nicaraguan beans he recommended for me to grind and make espresso at home were AMAZING. I have tried various micro-roasters around Chicago (all top rated ones) and Dave + CBC are now at the top. Also super cool he does a lot of single origin.... better for the bean growers, etc... The owner is very knowledgeable and can direct you to the perfect roast for making espresso.
