“The food was great! Greek salad was fresh and full of ingredients. My family had the beef tortas with which they were very generous with the beef and it was fresh and tasty. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the fries were terrible. I'm a self proclaimed fry master and these fries tasted like they'd been sitting around all day. I would visit again though and ask for fresh fries next time around.“

“Rocky’s has become one of my favorite spots! The food is always delicious, my personal favorites are the BBQ ribs, Garlic Parmesan wings, and their signature burger. They also have a great selection of drinks, so there’s always something good to go with the food. I also really like that they offer hookah. There’s a huge variety of flavors and different tobacco options depending on how light or strong you want it, so there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is great, the service is always friendly, and the staff genuinely makes you feel welcome every time you come in. It’s just a really comfortable place to eat, have some drinks, enjoy a hookah, and spend time with friends. Definitely recommend Rocky’s is a great food, great people, great atmosphere, and always a good time!“

“The restaurant is nice and big. It is clean! The waitstaff is great, friendly and efficient . The food is very very good and you know it's a great place to go when there is a wait line, sometimes out the door. You have the option to eat outside in good weather. My husband and I always try to get the cozy two seater table in the little nook by the window. The food is very tasty and plenty of flowing coffee. Due to illness we are not able to come out much, but I sure miss this place. Lots of wonderful Saturday morning breakfast memories. Wishing you great continued success.“

“Bluegrass Restaurant is a wonderful, family-owned restaurant. We have been ordering takeout and eating in since we came to Highland Park three years ago. The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. They respected us when we were speaking to the group and quietly took orders in the background. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.“

“I haven't been here in years and it was as entertaining as I remembered! Our group had a couple of newbies and they loved it as well! The baby dragon (half of a rotisserie chicken), dragon's egg (half of a baked potato), dragon's tail ( half an ear of corn) were all delicious and cooked to perfection. Adult beverages are pricey but they come in a cup that you keep and you'll get a discount on refills. Great horsemanship and falconer skills rounded out dinner and a show! Guaranteed for all ages to be a great time had by all!“

“My Aunt Marcia Hoffman turned 90 and is a rehab center where she is confined to her room . We wanted to do something special so we call Scotty’s and the made a meal to order for pick up. It worked out great and she loved it . Thank you Scott and the entire staff for making her 90th as special as it could be under the circumstances !“

It’s got a cute diner vibe inside and is easy to just walk in and grab a seat for breakfast. I do enjoy their breakfast but it’s not my #1 spot in the area.“

“What a magical, well run, homey place for all ages. It is almost a time travel trip back to kids were welcome, families have a great time and everyone can enjoy delicious food. “Went with family for the Friday night fish special. Was pretty good, but the gem was the variety of sizes that came with the platter. Everything could have used a bit more seasoning, except the veggies provided with it were done well. Typical decor for this type of establishment.“

“Our first time here and everything was top notch from our valet Monty to our server Haley who was very knowledgeable on the cocktails and the menu. We were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary that was somewhat casual and affordable ans this place fit the bill. The crabcake appetizer was just enough for the two of us and the twists on the typical old fashioned and margarita were great. The wood grilled chilean seas bass and fillet mignon were excellent. They even gave us an anniversary card and two glassed of complimentary champagne. We will definately stop back again !“

“The Arvin Place, a hidden gem for authentic Mongolian food!
Stopped by The Arvin Place and was genuinely impressed. Ordered the khuushuur (fried meat pies) and a traditional meat platter with boiled beef, potatoes, carrots, and a delicate dough wrap. Portions are generous, the meat is tender and flavorful, and the khuushuur came out golden with a thin, crispy shell, exactly how it should be. The broth on the side was a nice touch.
The space is clean and welcoming, with photos of the Mongolian steppe on the walls that set the mood. Friendly service, fair prices, and a rare chance to try real Mongolian cuisine in the Chicago area. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

“It's hand down one of the best diners around state. Friendly atmosphere, great food and this Hash Skillet is the BOMB. Don't forget to also include a Sunrise Smoothie to your meals, makes the day feel so much better.

I met the owner of the restaurant the food is made fresh when you order we are coming back again next week Tuesday after my DR appointment. “I can't say enough about my whole experience with the staff, accommodations and food!! I must have called 6 times changing the number of people and requesting a round table and they were so patient and accommodating. I'm sorry I don't remember the names I spoke with on the phone but they were wonderful. Our server Miguel was great, we wanted for nothing and the room we were in was outstanding. We all had an excellent time I could not have been happier!!“

“This was the perfect place for my daughter's baby shower. The room was lovely. The staff was excellent and the food was so good! We opted for the buffet. There was plenty of food. The ice cream sundae bar was a hit. All around? The perfect place. I cannot say enough good things.“

“Don’t order the short rib mini sandwiches! They were 90 percent fat. When I informed the waitress she indicated that there is always fat on those sandwiches. My sandwich was mostly grizzle and fat. My friend had the same thing but hers at least had some meat.“

“Gpay didn't work and I had no physical card. After trying the Gpay several times, I gave up. The manager asked for the drink I was drinking back, lol. I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in. “I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices.
