Food is really good only thing I could complain about was that the beef auju was a little too clear for my liking auju should be darker with a savory flavor but all in all my meal was delicious.
This cute pub/restaurant offers a large variety of very affordable dishes which also include daily specials so be sure to ask your server for daily offerings.
I personally came here for food not alcoholic beverages and I brought my service dog with me on both visits.

Lamplighter is a true Palatine institution, an old-school neighborhood establishment with a heritage you just don’t find anymore.
I’ve been coming here since around 1990, and it’s great to see Beth and J carrying the flag. Both are exceptional bartenders, friendly, welcoming, and true professionals who know their craft. The food remains outstanding.
