“My nephew is friends with the owner and loves their food and wanted me to try it and I have to say I was very impressed. The chicken Parmesan was top-notch and the garlic rolls with the garlic inside delicious and prices that you can’t beat!“
“It's a small restaurant with big food! You will want to go early because they don't reservations. Wine list could use an update. They were out of a particular Italian red wine on the list, and the white wines need an overhaul. Otherwise, everything was excellent.“
“Awesome local spot with a great menu that includes gluten free options and stuff for the kids too. Pizza is always good but I always find myself ordering the pasta prosciutto!! We love the cozy bar, and their friendly waitstaff too. Please don't ever change-“
“Great food! Servers are nice. They keep on refilling the food containers even on the last hour. Love their bacon and cheesecake and mostly their brussels! Can’t wait to go back again.Parking: Depends on what time you will be there. Just got lucky I have patience to wait for good parking spot near the front entrance.“
“Generous portion sizes for 'pizza by the slice.' Surprisingly, the meat lovers was not my favorite - the bacon parts are too much. Sausage bits are too tiny to be crispy; It's just hard. I don't recommend the plain cheese. The small pizza thin crust was perfect! I also liked the mozzarella sticks and french fries. They aren't seasoned but there's definitely a soft coating.“
“The Easter brunch was excellent. Three of us ordered fr the brunch menu - French toast, lobster eggs Benedict and crab cake eggs Benedict and everyone was happy with their meals. The lobster deviled eggs were pretty good and the muffin basket was delish. Our other diner got a salad and he was very happy with it. Overall, a nice way to celebrate Easter.“
“Marcellos is a great restaurant for so many reasons. First off, the food is great. I've not had anything that wasn't good.Second, they have a great space for parties and events. They have 2 smaller rooms that really aren't small at all. But they can take down the wall to make it into a much larger room. They can host events much larger than you'd imagine.Great service, generous drinks, and the owner is a kind, generous, and charitable man who gives back to the community.Go here.“
“This place is amazing. I live in the Chicago land area, and I love my deep dish pizza. Here, you can put SO many different toppings on, and you can also mix and match them. It also has thin crust. It has a hard crust, so it is sort of like deep dish. Their salad is the best. The service is good and the workers are nice to you. The pizzas can be a little bit pricey, but that's the only downside.“
“Love the restaurant and the food, however was there on a Saturday night at the peak dinner hour and it.wasn't nice. The wait staff were almost running up and down the aisle making it feel very chaotic . Felt rushed during our meal and the large groups around us were very loud. We couldn't hear each other talk. I'm sad to think such a nice restaurant turned out to be a big disappointment.I realize it was a very busy evening but it was not a good evening“
“A wonderful Italian style deli. Deli contains authentic Italian meats. Prepared foods are Wonderful and staff is willing to accommodate to special requests. Hands down one of the most authentic grocery’s in the area, right down to the fresh hand made cannoli! Enjoy.“
“Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to. A beautiful place with a great vibe. They have a bar in the main dining area which is great if you're looking to hangout after dinner. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and fun! Every dish we had was SPECTACULAR!!!. We ordered about 8 dishes and every single one was delicous. You can tell they use high quality products/ingredients. Lastly, the price we paid for this 10 STAR experience was too low in my opinion. I would easily pay triple the amount for this place. We'll be going back very soon. Maybe this weekend! ;) 10 STARS for Bar Salotto!!!“
“Came in again to try out their pizza special. I got the 2 slices and a drink last time, and it was too much for me. Just got a slice of sausage, and my usual soda can. Place is usually nice and clean. Everyone is friendly and acknowledges you when you walk in. It was cooked nicely and great crust. It wasn't too hard or soft, but just the right amount of crunch. The best part is that it's not really greasy like others. Big plus in my book. I definitely would come back if I'm in the area. Perks of working out in the field and trying new places.“
“Pasta D’Arte is a gem. Everything on the menu is fresh, scrumptious, and flavorsome. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about each of the food items. They have a large space, outdoor seating, and an area for private parties, but you can also find an intimate nook if you’re looking for something more romantic. I highly recommend going there for a celebration or a date night.“
“Excellent food and atmosphere!! I went here with my family and we had a great time. I had the langostino lobster stuffed ravioli in cream sauce and it was delicious I cannot wait to go back. My girlfriend had the penne farcita which was equally delicious!! I’d recommend the tiramisu and the peach cobbler for desert as well!!“
“We had eaten at a Lou Malnati’s several years ago and didn’t care for the pizza we had tried. But since we’ve heard so many people rave about their pizza, we decided to give the place another try this last time we were in Chicago. The restaurant has plenty of seating, but going late on a Thursday night meant the place was pretty empty. We had prompt service, but the pizza does take time to make. Plan on at least 30 minutes to get it delivered to your table. We ordered the Malnati Chicago Classic and added mushrooms. I’m not a big fan of sausage, so I was a bit hesitant to order it. However, I really enjoyed the pizza overall. The sausage wasn’t overly strong, and the tomato sauce had a wonderful sweetness to it. The crust was cooked to perfection, and the mozzarella cheese was plentiful. So did this pizza measure up? Absolutely! We will definitely be back!“
“Truly a family-owned, family-run and family-centric establishment. We've witnessed them grow since they opened in 1999, and their craft is perfected. Whether you want a quiet date night with some ridiculously delicious pasta and wine; or a coffee and Gelato; or a quick lunch of a sandwich, pizza or arancini and pasta salad... you can't go wrong. They're expert caterers and you won't have to worry about a thing if you're hosting an event of any kind. Love!“
“Our first visit to Disotto. Seamus was our server, and was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We split an Italian chopped salad, tried some Bruschetta with roasted apples and one with whipped ricotta and peppers-really great- and then moved on to some pasta. The Pappardelle Bognese and Cavatelli con Burrata were delicious. Everything we ate was outstanding. Seamus seemed to anticipate our needs-we felt cared for without ever feeling rushed. We will make Disotto a regular destination.“
“Carmen, our server was fabulous. Table was quiet, which was very nice and we felt our conversation wasn’t listened in on.I selected the skirt steak with the chimichurri. My fiancé had the sea bass on special. Antipasto to share as an appetizer. Bread was warm, butter whipped.Cocktails were good. Would absolutely come back again. The only weird thing, the chairs are leather. The seat I had was clearly stained, not sure what with, but it wasn’t wet or sticky. But the brown stain was a little off putting, but I totally forgot about it once I sat.“
“When in Chicago, you can't skip on this place. The pizza was amazing. This was my first time trying Deep Dish (Chicago Style) pizza, and I'm glad I went with the best for my first time. We also had the fried mozzarella and the bruschetta. The Bruschetta is nicknamed "The Best" and after having it, I now know why. Our waitress was super nice. She was an older lady with a Boston accent but she was so funny and took really good care of us.“
“Everything about our experience was five stars. First off the ambiance was so nice, stylish but comfortable and cozy. My four year old spilled milk all over him, the booth and the floor. The staff, Claudia (server), Andres and Kristine (host) were so unbelievably kind, attentive and responsive I don't think I have ever experienced that before. Kristine was so helpful and concerned she even offered me a clean towel to help dry him off in the restroom. I haven't even mentioned the food! Everything we ordered was delicious. We had an assortment of small plates (focaccia, Brussel sprouts, calamari, farro) as well as pasta and the burger was enjoyed by all. We would definitely be regulars if we were local.“
“If you want an amazing steak, this is the place! Steak at an Italian restaurant you ask? Yes. They have a dry aged tomahawk steak this is to die for. Mind you it is expensive, but so worth it. It’s huge and when we go as a couple we get it plus a few sides. It is also great for a larger group because then you have room to enjoy their pastas and desert. People usually think you go to a steakhouse to get a great steak. But I have found that many Italian and French restaurants offer these larger prime cuts and they are usually outstanding.“
“This is one of the best little family owned Italian restaurants! Enjoyed a great family dinner. Not rushed like other places today. Food was phenomenal and pricing very reasonable for the high quality of the food and the extras. Great service. Will be back when I am up in the area again.“
“Our Veal Marsala was great. We both had the same thing. The portions were so large that we had a lot to take home, and we have enough for another dinner. We were celebrating my wife's Birthday and they provided a delicious Italian Lemon cake, ice cream with chocolate sauce. Most of all our server, Maria, was excellent. Her Birthday is today, the day after my wife's birthday. We will be back very soon!“
“I can't understand the negative reviews. I brought my three girls here for lunch and we had an amazing lunch! We last dined here about a year ago. The service was incredibly fast, the fried calamari was delicious, and the pizza was amazing. My picky eater asked for four more meatballs after devouring the first three that came on her spaghetti. I decided to try the soup/sandwich combo. It was so difficult to choose a sandwich because they ALL sounded amazing. I was very pleased with the Italian sandwich with the asparagus soup. I wish I would have brought a quart of the soup home for my husband to enjoy. The ingredients are fresh and everything tastes wonderful. I am already looking forward to our next visit!!“
“Incredible food with very handsome cash register workers. 10/10 would go again! Growing up in Italy I can say they have the best Italian food I've had since moving to the Americas. Hopefully their business continues to thrive and become more and more recognized.“
“On line doesn't allow for 1/2 cheese only side plain ingredient pizza orders.Try calling to leave a message before store opens about on line pizza order, can't be done. Can't change delivery time on line, just stuck on 11AM, need at noon..frustration.“
“From food to drinks and service, we are so lucky to have this neighborhood gem! I love the cheese and meat app, as well as all pastas and flat breads we have tried. The staff is beyond helpful, and the owners are supportive of the community. It does not get better than Trezeros!“
“Our reservation was for 5pm and we walked in at 502pm. The food for both my wife and I were absolutely the best Italian food we have ever had. The price was excellent for such great quality. We will try to come at least once per month. Thank you very much for our delicious meals. We will see you soon.“
“Good spot... walking in.. it's really busy with a small bar and many tables surrounding/ exposed brick walls. Nice wine list with some good Italian bottles. Good menu with half a dozen apps, homemade pasta dishes & entrees! They also had an excellent *Specials Menu* she said. Started with a couple of glasses of Barbera and some baked clams with the bread of course. Great wine & clams were on the smaller side with an excellent sauce! They are known for their homemade pasta and I decided to try the special. This was a Jalapeño Gnocchi in a Vodka Cream sauce with Corn, etc... it was excellent, cooked perfectly! For dessert we had the Molten Chocolate Cake which was also very good & great ice cream. Waitress was very good & prices are a bit above average but worth it/ you can taste the quality ingredients for sure! Close it out with some Limoncello Shots// talk later“
“It is always a pleasure dining here. Wonderful service is always provided. Great food with large portions. The cocktails are amazing! Let’s not forget the tasty appetizers and scrumptious desserts!!! GA must try!! You will not be disappointed!!“
“Del Rio is the finest restaurant that my family and I have ever had the privilege to frequent. It is part of every milestone in the lives of the Platcow family and in every sense of the word Del Rio is home and their staff are also indeed family. Much love to them and thank you Bill and Connie for providing the set and the stage for our important moments living on the North Shore these last fifty years. Much love from the Platcow family to the great Del Rio!“
“Panino's Pizzeria was, frankly, a very pleasant surprise. We agreed to meet friends here - they had recommended it. It looked like so many run-of-the-mill pizza/Italian food joints in the Chicago area, that we weren't expecting much. Boy, were we wrong. This is NOT nouvelle cuisine Italian-style, but rather stereotypical, Italian-American food that is hearty and quite tasty. Gratis bread to start the meal, followed by pork meatballs in red sauce and burrata. My wife had the lasagna - very nice portion, and I had the pork chops with broccoli. The wait staff (Fred) was bend over backwards accommodating us. The fried dough with chocolate was amazing. The prices are moderate. And none of us had pizza! We're certain to return to try some (they serve several styles). Huge thumbs up!“
“We were in Arlington Heights for a memorial service and looking for a nice dinner. So glad we found this neighborhood gem. The parking lot was scary with work being done but we didn't let that discourage us and I am so glad. The complementary bread basket with focaccia was delicious. All dinners come with soup or salad. My husband was delighted with his the lobster ravioli topped with lobster sauce and sauteed shrimp. I loved my veal Marsala. For the quality and quantity of food, it was more than reasonable. We live 45 minutes to an hour from there but, we will be back.“
“Awesome place, modern, cozy. Our 2 and 4 kids loooove to eat pasta and dine in. not just thay make pasta from scratch bit they are using organic chicken for our favorite pasta. pasta is usually done in 5/6 minute and portions are big. If you like Europian flavor for both interior and food this is right place for you!“
“BYG appears to be back to the ways they were before the pandemic of 2020. Their portions are generous again as before I felt there was major cutbacks in quality and quantity due to businesses suffering due to Covid. Loved the pork kebab (Souvlaki), tzatziki sauce along with the Greek potatoes and rice pilaf.“
“The food was fantastic, the staff was kind and friendly with great recommendations. The desert we had, the sticky toffee bread pudding was phenomenal! The service was perfect with timing and the atmosphere is comfortable and charming. This is a neat place to go to to catch up with friends and family or a date. Thanks so much for the great evening!“
“Deerfield Italian Kitchen offers an exceptional dining experience that begins with a personal touch – the owner answering the phone to take your order. This personalized service sets the tone for what awaits: delicious Italian cuisine crafted with care and attention to detail. The chicken and Italian sausage risotto is undoubtedly a standout dish, boasting rich flavors and perfect texture. It's a testament to the kitchen's commitment to quality and authenticity. Equally impressive is the chicken parm sandwich, a beloved favorite that never disappoints. What truly sets Deerfield Italian Kitchen apart, however, is not just the delectable food, but also the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Whether you're a longtime patron or a first-time visitor, you're treated like family from the moment you walk in the door.Having frequented this establishment for years, I can confidently say that Deerfield Italian Kitchen consistently delivers on its promise of excellent Italian fare at reasonable prices. If you're craving top-notch Italian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Deerfield Italian Kitchen. Highly recommended.“
“Sal and Tony’s has such a cozy atmosphere, and yet the dining areas are large, so you don’t feel crowded. All the wait staff and owners were so friendly, efficient, and professional, and the food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!“
“We have always gone to Lou's in Lincolnwood, but had family in town and Buffalo Grove was closest for them. what a difference, place was huge and the parking lot was great. It will be our new location for sure. Service was just ok. It was a Friday night and busy so the staff was not very attentive but the good is great so we can deal with that“
“just ate dinner here with my family and had a great experience! did not take photos of my meal but will detail everything. ambiance: very small, close space inside with tiny tables. they could not fit everything we ordered on our tiny two top. restaurant interior was very clean but kind of boring. really happy that they found space our stroller. service: host, servers, and busboy were all very attentive and accommodating. however, everyone was frantically running around in a very manic fashion. the small restaurant was decently busy on a Friday night, but i did not enjoy“
“Pescatarian Italian fusion restaurant that checks every box: excellent food, ranging from well done standards, such as handmade pasta, through intricate dishes with creative flavors; thorough drink menu (enjoyed the Fuji Whiskey); ample portion sizes; pleasant atmosphere hitting the sweet spot between modern and classic, with comfortable seating; great music that was not too loud or intrusive, Spanish classical guitar playing instrumental pop covers (did they play that flamenco Final Fantasy VII Cover for our anniversary?); and well timed service. Hands down the best Kosher restaurant at which I've ever eaten.Vegetarian options: Pescatarian restaurant with a plethora of delicious vegetarian options.“
“My two friends and I had a lovely evening at Convito Cafe. All the staff with whom we interacted were very pleasant and professional, and the food was quite good. Almost best of all, they kept the music soft, and we were actually able to converse with each other without having to shout - something that is becoming increasingly difficult in many restaurants. Thank you!“
“We are very particular about our pizzas and Northshore Pizza was exceptional! We ordered the stuffed pizza and wouldn't change a thing. -The crust is flavorful with a slightly crisp bottom ....perfect platform for the generous amount of cheese on top. The tangy sauce is delicious and brings the pizza to life. Even the customer service is great! These guys know what there doing! Definitely our new go-to.“
“Definitely one of the top 5 pizza slices I have ever had. The jumbo slice is not only the biggest slice I have had, they have to cut it in half for you to really enjoy. I had the garlic dressing for the salad and it was amazing. I can't wait to try out the other items in menu. Best of all the workers are really nice, I Think it maybe a family owned business where you get that personal attention unlike corporate restaurants. Definitely going again.“
“The very best the North Shore has to offer in Italian food. This small cozy restaurant serves the most authentic Italian dishes and the baked goods are incredible. Gino the owner is an amazing person in every way and a great friendTonight the squash stuffed raviolis in a sage butter sauce with sugar brought me back to Tuscany 5 stars and get a cannoli“
“I have driven by this place about 8,000 times and never paid much attention to it so when my BF suggested we go there, I was happy to give it a try! There is easy parking in a lot right in front. The ambiance is simple and cozy with a plentiful amount of tables. It has a family owned vibe which I appreciate. We each ordered our own pizza and equally enjoyed them. One veggie + arugula and one pepperoni + olive. A nearby table ordered a salad and I will definitely do the same next time as it looked large and fresh! I'm so glad to have this in the neighborhood and will certainly be back again soon. Thank you.“
“Nino’s….. I love you guys! I just had the minestrone with tortellini soup, grilled chicken breast sandwich & meatballs delivered…..wonderful comfort food after a stressful work week!! The soup, my favorite, was fresh & hot, & just what I needed! AND the delivery driver in the red Ford pickup truck was awesome & read my crazy apartment delivery instructions & did it right! Whoever you are, you get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Btw, their thin crust pizza is awesome & their cheese is the best!“
“What an amazing place. I have been coming here since I was a kid and I’m in my 40’s now and it just keeps getting better. Everything from the stuffed pizza to the pasta you honestly can’t go wrong. We have had family parties here and I pick up a stuffed pizza any time I get a craving. The owners are great people so friendly as well as the entire staff. Give it a try you will not be disappointed and can’t go wrong there!“
“I enjoyed my first time eating at Maggiano's. We celebrated my sis in law's birthday there. We ordered chicken entrees and pastas. The servings were enormous and they even have an option to order take home for a cheaper price. We tried their desserts-- the New York style cheesecake was just okay but their Tiramisu was so good. Since it was a birthday lunch, they served a piece of Tiramisu with a lighted candle for the celebrant. We were so full and still had lots of take-homes..Kid-friendliness: There were some toddlers from another table and saw that they were seated on a high chair and looked comfortable. The placement of tables and chairs were not cramped so the kids could somehow run around.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp at the entrance and the wheelchair could be freely pushed inside and fit into the dining area.“
“Exceptional Dining Experience Thanks to Outstanding ServiceI recently had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly by Kim M.From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted warmly by Kim M. and made to feel welcomed. Kim M. went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she was knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating our dietary preferences flawlessly.Overall, my dining experience at here was exceptional, thanks in large part to Kim M.'s exemplary service.
